This channel is about van conversion into camper, van life and enjoying the great outdoors! It’s for Van Lifers, future Van Lifers or outdoors adventurers!
It is about motivating and helping people to go with a do it yourself (DIY) project of thinking their own van conversion design, building of that conversion and having fun with that camper!
It’s also about giving great tips about van life!
This channel is all about fun and enjoying planet Earth! There will be also great outdoor adventures!
Definitely one of the most easiest and practical advice I have ever watched for van conversions! Just brilliant! Thank you so much that I find it just when I starting my van! I will definitely use that knowledge!
Merci Éric pour tes très inspirant vidéos fort apprécier. Thanks Eric for all your inspiring videos very much appreciated. Hope maybe to see you sometimes. I'll be doing my van conversion this winter. 👍👍😊😊
Hi Eric-how did you secure the box your refrigerator is in to the floor to keep the refrigerator from moving if your hit the brakes or you are in an accident? Thanks. Theo- from Athens
Sometimes you have to make some compromises to get some advantages. It’s a matter of opinion. Personally, I do not miss it since there is so much advantages! ✌️
Eric, can you supply the dimensions and pieces of everything needed for the bed? I don’t know the first thing about building and would not attempt any power tools. But if i knew each piece with dimensions I could probably figure it out.
Hello Eric I browse your channel almost every day, even though I feel like I've seen every video a hundred times. I particularly like the simplicity of your solutions. My camper is a bit more complicated to plan because it's a high-roof van. But I will use many of your ideas. Thank you for bringing me down to earth. Best regards from Germany
You are awesome Eric, and you're work is amazing. Where can i have my van like that pls? Will you accept project of the same for what you did to your van pls? Where are you based? Thanks
does the mylar still reflect radiant heat if the fabric side is facing out? or do you need to flip it at night when you park for stealth? also, will a small gap between the curtain and window lessen the insulation if it still blocks the light from the inside? i was thinking about making my curtains more oversized and using adhesive magnets to place them on and take them off, it would be a 7.6mm gap.
Hello Eric. I’m visiting my boyfriend in Tennessee and we are working on converting a larger van than the one I had before and I am making a folding bed. I’m watching your video and I have to ask if the cushion covers are all separate or sewn together? Thank, take care.
I have a tin top vanagon with the little folding table that comes out. Your conversion is the closest thing to that. The basic backseat that flips to a bed. I’m not sure why this can’t be produced commercially now, it must be something to do with safety.
This design is simply perfect! In fact it is coming back, but unfortunately with an electric version. Which is not necessarily appropriate when you travel outside of civilization... ✌️
Thank you, Eric, from Jack in Florida. And one additional thought about costs: Your total conversion cost ($5,000) can be found by simply buying a car 2 or 3 years older. A new or 'newish' van isn't needed, just a well maintained van that has been a cared-for family member.
Eric, you have shown this mounting hardware & table on many of your videos and I was hoping you would show it in some details. And Voila! here it is. Thank you from hot, steamy Florida.
So many of these geographic 'slices', so many good memories returning for us! Eric, I expect you have made a trip up to Alaska in your minivan but the search function say's 'no'. Is that true? You seem the perfect candidate for such a trip.
@@ericenjoysearth2756 Eric, here is a small gift for you, in case you have missed it. 6-part series by someone who travels like you do. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TnxwKAyPhlU.html
Eric, it's a treat to have these "bite size" videos available, so one can watch, then reflect and evaluate these techniques at one's own pace. Thank you once again, from Florida.
Well done, Eric. I'll be looking for your sequel videos on your electrical system. One note: I'm surprised your entire DC electrical load is distributed THRU your MPPT Controller. I hope Renogy built in good protection for that. Also, I wonder what AC services you use beyond the computer and small device charging. No microwave in the van, correct?
So far, Renogy is doing a great job. I am satisfied. No microwave cooking for me. In fact I don't use AC power other than for PC. Power conversion is less than optimal... ✌️
Eric, a note--the video about "steps and cost" is not placed in any of the three playlists as far as i see and only available by viewing the menu of all your videos. I think it's a wonderful video and you should consider putting it in either the "technics" or "concepts" playlists. Thank you for your invaluable videos! I just bought a 2005 Sienna and am starting my building, bit by bit. Cheers.
What a collection of gems you have created, Eric. Your videos seem to combine practicality with minimum fuss in the same way you have created your magic carpet. Thank you!
Eric, I've enjoyed many of your videos here and appreciate your practical but also creative approach to solving van life issues. Thank you. I am in Florida...but before that, I lived in Arizona, Montana, Maryland, North Carolina, Nevada, Connecticut, Rhode Island and California. Your ideas seem applicable to each of these locations. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your wonderful videos Eric! I am just starting on my own adventures (just got my 2018 Grand Caravan yesterday!) and your designs will most certainly be the foundation of my build. Your videos are so informative and a pleasure to watch ❤ Thanks again, from Atlanta Georgia
i am doing my CRV build 2.0 currently. I was very inspired by your sofa bed. The relative dimensions don't work in a CRV (obviously) but the spirit of your build is alive in my new build. Thanks for the great content and safe travels.
This was super helpful, Eric. I definitely vote for a video on the techniques. I would also love a video where you talk more about how you handle wet gear, like wetsuits, swimsuits, and in my case, snow gear.
