You stick a needle into the disc and doing so will create a hole in the disc so yes of course the dye will spill back out regardless if you have a tear or not.
During a discography that evaluates for painful, degenerated and torn discs, the contrast does not leak out in non-torn discs, it forms the "hamburger-sign" as the contrast stays in the nucleus without leaking. How much does these procedures cost? I have 4 herniated discs (2 on top 2on lower back)? Everything is so expensive due to no health insurance coverage. How long does this procedure last? Is it for ever with the expensive pricing they charge?
Discseel is a great treatment for neck and back pain from torn and degenerated discs, but unfortunately insurance does not cover it. The procedure can cost anywhere from $13K to $17K, depending on what area needs to be treated. We do include PRP in the epidural and of the joints and ligaments in this cost (unlike other clinics). Once the discs are sealed and healed, this should be a long term solution, especially if the rest of the spine is treated with PRP at the same time. Im so disappointed my husband had prp injected in his achilles and it was costly bc insurance is not covering it...the reason im disappointed is bc the doctor didn use ultrasound to guide injections. My husband said doctor felt insulted when my husband asked if he was guiding the injections with an ultrasound ..he said ive ddne this many times i know what im doing...but how ? @Proedross123 I had X13 sessions of Ozone Therapy Injections. Had 2 drive from Melbourne ( just out of Melbourne) 2 Sydney North Shore . Extremely Pain Full Jabs . Marginal Improvements. I have watched alot of these videos for different doctors and clinics- some had some horrible reviews and the people felt worried worse or lost a alot of money and felt the same - I want to believe so bad because these symptoms have changed my life for the worse- I still haven’t been diagnosed because all doctors I see either never heard of it or say that’s impossible to have or I’d be paralyzed, it’s progressing quickly, I know I need to advocate for myself- doctors only want to order X-ray and MRI but we know that won’t see it smh 🤦

Dang I got wrist drop from falling asleep on a desk with my head pressing my arm against the desk corner. It did get better on its own but it was very frightening.
