@@Zubair-d1p my kids move it all the time. So pretty easy. The glue is pvc cement. Just google schedule 40 pvc plumbing cement. Let me know if you have more questions.
I admit, we have stayed at several while using our TT over the course of 7 years. They are conveniently located if you are traveling for a pit stop once in a while. But, they are expensive. We recently stay in one while traveling in the midwest. It was over $70 for one night. We try to avoid them, if possible.
I just want to say I did the Dawn dish detergent + bleach clean and that didn't TOUCH the mold/mildew. Only after I tried this did it work. It looks as good a new (literally) - just a couple small pitch spots but other than that it's pristine! I won't lie - it's not as easy at it looks as there's a lot of manual effort involved, so all in all this took me 2.5 hours for ours but it's so clean now!
Thanks for the second opinion. We clean ours at least annually and this last time went this route. With only one experience I was hoping it would work as well for others. Have a great week!
There are two different awning fabrics in use: vinyl and acrylic. This video appears to suggest vinyl. I doubt if this would work on woven acrylic, which has an applied waterproofing seal coating. Please confirm if I am correct. If so, you would simply re-spray the fabric after it is thoroughly dry.
Yes, when you get up on the rim there are some spots that are pretty sketchy. you'll understand. you can see it a little in the video but it gets real when you are standing on the rim and can't see the gorge bottom below through the trees. It is a safe trail if you take those spots seriously. It's a great hike!
Odd, with our RV, having the tires on the ground supporting any weight at all makes it incredibly wobbly. Which is particularly frustrating since my son lost parts for the stabilizer. The suspension is meant to absorb load, along with the spongy tires... Buy hey, I suppose each model is different, perhaps mine just has better stabilizers?🤷
thanks for commenting, I've had a Ford Chassis and a Freightliner Chassis and both required all 6 tires on the ground. I agree some RVs may not require it. What chassis do you have and what does the manual say?
Hi good review except you may want to practice with your Weber Q by pre-heating at least 10-15 minutes prior to cooking steaks! Cast iron takes some time to pre-heat and searing is no problem even with lower cooking temperatures. I have several Weber Q's by the way.
Hey, I use Rubber horse mats cut up and glued and pop riveted together. I have a piece of rope on them and used a bright colored paint. I use these as they don't slide or break apart after a few months. 3m glue works great.
Campground should make every space level because all RV's need level spaces. No matter how the lots are they can make level spaces but they do not want to spend the money to make them flat!
no problem. check the grand canyon nps website www.nps.gov/grca/planyourvisit/shuttle-buses.htm though to make sure you know when the shuttle runs. There is also a nice map there. But we saw them stop at Trailer Village often and you will see them all over the park as they move people along the South Rim.
Both are nice but I think the South River Falls (if you hike down to the base) is my preference. Also, the Lower White Oak Canyon Falls are awesome and it is an easy forested hike with many smaller cascades along the way. Overall Run Falls - 93 feet - is something to see, too.
White Oak Canyon all around is my favorite. Counter clockwise on the way down there are a bunch of falls before you even get to all the canyon's falls.
I’m seasoned and guilty leaving the awning out… I went 30 min away to visit my brother and could SEE a storm in the distance and my family in town by my RV started texting me because there was a tornado near my rig! Shockingly, my awning was fine… the whole campground was seemingly untouched
Tires off the ground… I’m shocked to discover that some people don’t know that their STABILIZING jacks are NOT leveling jacks! If I find a window to say something, I do. It could seriously cost them so much damage
