They now make it with 80v batteries, which I like since I have other Greenworks tools that use the 80v battery. Plus it will be 1/3rd more powerful than the one in this video, great in high wet grass. The other thing to mention is the batteries charge in about an hour. That's a big plus if you run out of juice or need the battery for another tool. I always bad so the clumping you experience is null and void for me.
Good memories. That was my first bike, bought 2 years used in 1980. Rode mine from Virginia to Miami (and stayed for life) in 1983 when I got out of the Marine Corps. Unfortunately mine was totaled at a red light rear end collision within a year. I was okay but not the Yamaha. Still riding to date. Now it's an Indian Super Chief Limited. ✌️
I just worked out a deal for a 79 CM400T, it’s burgundy with the pinkish colored pin stripes and has 10k miles on her. She’s recently been gone through and she’s really running very nicely. This is no where near my first bike but I chose to buy it over every other bike because it’s what I was looking for. Anyone can buy a Harley and look exactly like the pack but that’s just not me. I’m not much of a fan of the Harley culture. I pick the bike up in the morning and I’ll post an update after I’ve ridden it around. I gave $1900 bucks for her by the way, to me that’s a good deal for a fun little bike that is generally pretty bulletproof. I’ll keep this video audience updated. Sweet bike by the way, that blue is really a nice combination. If I ever paint mine I’ll keep this one in mind.
UPDATE: I recently started using the bagger. It is a way way better mower if you're willing to bag. You can mow less frequently and still hold a good pace vs bogging down.
If I'm not mistaken, that camera shake was a result of buffeting caused by shock waves forming near the leading edge of that headlight nacelle!! If there had been more humidity in the air, we might have seen a vapor ring form too!! Love the CT90 and the video!!
Flaw with scooter be prepared overtime as the tire in the rear goes flat becuase the air tube doesnt hold well to heat replaced it with a solid rear tire for like 20 bucks solid and rides well.
Amazon you get the solid tire the one thats tubeless one with the holes in it you never have to worry about that issue again thats what they should have done in the first place because the heat from the motor kills the tire innertube itself/@@shannonlove44
Odd... not being able to pull it backwards isn't a deal breaker, but it is a big deal. Which there were a neutral gear for reversing it. Makes me give this a second thought.
You certainly can pull it backwards. You just have to release the self propel handle a second or two before you pull it back. Not a big deal at all. The guy in this video needs some basic training.
Got my Dad's 79 ct90 running w/600 original miles, quick carb cleaning and spiders removed, bone stock, pins the needle (downhill) easy. Takes 15 minutes to warm up and hold idle though
Interesting, also good to note the height adjustment has 7 settings, a 3 is SUPER low. 1 is like a half inch, which is insane. The power of the self-propel is practically a jog. Mine you can pull back... its the 80v.
I've had the same mower for over a year. It's biggest drawback is it's not pick up the oak leafs like my 21" Honda did, . I've tried lowering the mower and mowing with the Turbo speed and it still leave a lot of leaves behind.
@@OneAndOnlyChi Both the Honda and Greenworks mulch and both are baggers. I think it has something to do with the angle of the Honda blade that gives the Honda more uplift. The Greenworks blade is flatter.
Had the identical motorcycle, right down to the year and exact color, back in 1976,to 1979, miss it very much ,lots of happy miles, very very dependable, always ran great, ah goodtimes, good times, still driving Honda's , cars instead
I got mine at Walmart a few months back, it was selling for $199.00 on the site retailed for over $500.00!! I bought one I am a petite in stature 4'11 and about 125lbs it runs ok, ride is pretty bumpy on certain terrains but flat surfaces it isn't too bad and has decent speed, it has been cold so haven't gotten it out that much, I will ride to my community mailbox (which is walking distance) 🙄but it's fun to ride there, I got it to ride around the park near where I live, it is ok on small gravel, it is fun I do wear my helmet of course, I am not sure how long it runs before batter completely goes out, once the weather is warmer I will really test it out, for what I bought it for I don't think I would want it to go faster than the 15mph in sport mode, I don't plan on riding it on the interstate, but locally around the area or taking it with me to parks to ride around the ponds is pretty fun, it was worth the money in my opinion.
I had that same bike back in the day,. Racked up over 83,000 miles in the 4 years that I owned it . Rock solid ,never any problem. Routine maintenance and this thing will run for a life time. This is an absolutely stunning bike that You have.
I got one a few months back and had to replace the back wheel inner tube after it went flat on one of first rides. I ordered a replacement tube and replaced it which was extremely difficult. A few weeks after replacing the tube the back tire was flat again after a few rides. Maybe there is a problem with valve stem port in relation to the stem?
Not sure... haven't had that issue as of yet. I will say that whenever I replace a tube on anything motorized, I buy an extra thick version. Too many pinched tubes.
