Ah yes takes me back to Broad St Birmingham, Rococo Lounge, mad times, never to return, just the memories... ❤❤❤ One of THE best garage tracks to come out
This was the very first UK Garage tune titled "Boom Selection" by Shark I before Genius Cru copied the title to form their own tune. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cL5hJnXO1bM.html
At 2.25 I think is the weirdest peice of recording in the history of music, what the fuck is he going on about ? The cadence of his voice and the lyrics and flow are below zero. Doesn’t even sound recorded properly it’s so bad
Always loved the tune, sounds like A flipmode beat. When I was at school my peers considered this whack, maybe due to the American accent, but to listen back now after all these years, the guy had cadence and lyrics. It’s a throwback to hiphop of the time. His flow is nice to be fair
Wow, what an amazing and beautiful video. Like a women and girls empowerment thing. What a riddim, what beautiful singing with that Jamaica sound system reggae chat there. What a beautiful time to have been young. Thank you!
Goes out to the sista with her whole foot n leg on the table 🔥😂😂 hope you doing well. So much joy and jokes back then. But we took ourselves overly seriously 🤣
But the other thing is: it was a boy’s club, cos at the time nuff gyal were smashing the mic but were blocked by a shitty guys. ms Dynamite and Leshurr show that the Sistas can defeat the guys on the mic with great ease.
A wicked and pioneering tune. Very important in the development of MC culture in the context of Garage going into Grime. But it’s also hilarious, and gotta catch nuff jokes. Not least the amazing singing in the chorus with the melodies taking over in the last syllable of ‘this is a genius producSHUUAAAN’ 😂😂😂🔥🔥🔥
