Waves' sales strategy is very special and changes very often but normally if you lease it you should also have access to many other plugins, if that's what you mean?
Waves tune real time can actually sound extremely robotic just set the speed to 0, the note transition to 0, the vibrato to off and the formant to not corrected
It depends how you convert to mp3. Don’t feel like you can’t have high quality MP3’s it’s not 1997 anymore. They can sound good. Also you don’t need to convert a file 100 times. Interesting experiment though ☝️🤓
I've used a bit rate of 192kbps which is still used a lot nowadays, it's not the best but I also did the test with a bit rate at 320kbps and the result wasn't so much better
I use a free version of cubase12 AI.. for a free DAW the came with a ur44c i bought its got a lot of features that suit me atm but i need more audio tracks so im gonna jump to cubase 13 pro as i understand and can use it for many different things. Plus the pro version has a nice amount of plugins for the mixing part.. nice vid
@@ideez_ Are they at least _usable_, like in a pinch, just to know what you're playing while composing on the go? This is the deciding factor on me getting one so I'd really like to know.
Depends on what you're aiming for with the reverb, do you want them to be in the same space? Or do you want them to be separated in the mix? Use the same reverb if you want them to have the same depth/space within your mix
Hi there you got the right video for me so i subbed 4life.. im learning about reverb as i never fully understood. Thanks plus ill be downloading the ebook. Nice one
Were you living under the rock? Headrush who made the looper already had headrush looper which is exactly the same except the pedals. They are just rebranding it with exorbitant pricing. Boss has already more powerful looper rc600 at half the price. And it is six track looper unlike sheeran x which has 4 tracks.
analog gear sounds only phatter first of all beacuse it has to go thhrough a line in or mic pre before it goes into the DAW...so there is another layer of slight saturation what you would also have to imitate when comparing a plugin or send plugin track out through the same mic pre/line in.
A mic pre is for converting mic signal into line signal. If you send Line signal out of the computer you don’t need a preamp and it is not common practice either. The difference between analog and digital is also not just ‘fatness’
The Pultec's are warm but not as warm as those super cool cylinder lamps sitting behind you on your desk! Would you mind sharing the make on model of those so I could grab a pair for my studio? Great video and I will be subscribing and checking out more of your content.
