Hello Sr, i am currently in my first year of the R171 course. I am not happy there and i am wondering if i can switch to the R174 course in my second year since my current institute is having problems with SANC not wanting to provide registration exams for the institute. Would it be possible?
Hi there, please consult your institution and enquire more about their options that I available to you. I cannot comment on the possibility of it. All the best with your career.
Hi sr I am a nursing assistant i want to upgrade my study's to become PN . How can i register in your college . I'm working in western cape at the moment as ENA
I really resonate with all that you're saying about taking risks and SA needs more people like you to encourage & make aware of issues concerning our nursing practice. Had you not mentioned these changes, some people wouldn't have known. Thank you for letting us know. Please upload more videos frequently so people like me can come back home to practice. As soon as I found out that I could not specialise, I and many other nurses , emigrated overseas. But home is always best.
Do you know any information regarding Bcur of nursing education and management that was offered at UNISA. I see it's ending 2024 ,any new course coming up for 2025
Thank you thank you Sli you’re so adorable xa uthetha last time ndikuva uthetha kwakuse Junior 😍 sky is the limit sanalwam you’re such an inspiration 🫂
So if you did your diploma at a private institution, is it possible to enroll with the university? And which institutions that offers this new advance qualifications?
So informative, thank you. I heard you mention that you need minimum 2 years in order for you to enrol on the post graduate programs. Can I please ask are there any programs that a 2023 comserve can enrol to that don’t require experience, thank you sis.
Hi Uviwe, thank you for watching. To the best of my knowledge, all the specialities need you to have years of experience and unfortunately, your community service year does not count. Maybe try and find out if you would be eligible for a masters degree program, if that’s something that would interest you. That’s the only qualification that I can think of right now.
Thanks you ma’am for this video, it’s inspiring.please I want to ask after SAQA verification which other steps should I take, I want to do mine postgraduate studies(I want to be a nurse educator) I don’t know whether to approach SANC or University, Please can you guide me

Hi sisi. I'd like to ask.....im currently doing my first year for the R171 course, can i get credited so i do R174 in a university, meaning that since I've completed my first year I'll have to do 3more years in university? Is my question clear sisi
Hi Sesona… I think I get your question. I would suggest that you enquire from the University you are hoping to study at. Enquire from them how they can help you. They will be more helpful.
@@sesonabatyi4314 It is crucial to remember that the R171 is a NQF level 6, but the Bachelors is a NQF level 8, implying that you would need to complete a NQF 7 course before enrolling in the Bachelors. For now we hope the advanced midwifery course will be the bridge to articulate from diploma R171 to R174.
Hi recently discovered your videos, they very informative thank you a lot. You said you did Nursing Education, Health Service Management, and what's the third one?
Just came across your RU-vid channel, still trying to catch up. I also wanted to be a Medical Doctor and my first year clinical practicals made me realize that I actually wanted to be a professional Nurse just that I thought it's what Doctors do
Hlo..I need to know about R171 course...if I'm stuff nurse will I be credited for 1 year to become a general nurse as it was before with auxiliary nurse to R2175..
Hello, can you confirm what R2175 is ? Secondly, I highly doubt, seemingly there is no bridging course anymore, you will have to complete either R171/ R174 depending on where you have applied. I would suggest that you enquire from the institution you are hoping to study at to find out about their qualifications and their minimum requirements.
