We are Jesse and Kara, a married couple who both work full time. Our objective is to make the most of our limited leisure time. We choose to do this in our 5th wheel RV. We would like to inspire and motivate others to get out and enjoy the world we live in. Vacations do not need to be weeks long and cost thousands of dollars. Vacations can be as short or as long as the adventure requires. Adventure is out there waiting.
Thank you for the full install! I'm getting ready to order this for my 40' travel trailer trailer that I live full time in here in the NC mountains. I do have a question, sometimes it gets down to the low teens and even single digits on rare occasion in the winter. How cold does it get where you are and have you been happy with the added protection this system gives? Thanks again 👍
@@MrMatthewgross you can check our results video where Chet talks about how much it helped. It gets teens single digits here with snow but low humidity.
@@JauntJunkiesThank you, pretty much same here, low humidity here in the Mountains of Boone NC is definitely a plus with less interior condensation. Thanks for your informative content 👍
I wonder if they can install an exterior outlet for a generator or shore power from campgrounds to connect to. That little battery is not going to do for a desktop gaming PC or game console to run. I'm not even suggesting to install an inverter, because some people may already have their own power station that can connect to a generator, shore power, and solar to charge from.
Maybe the answers are laying in the cold dark depths of Moon lake. Guarded by ghostly aparitions, Bigfoot, aliens, skinwalkers, and others. Patiently waiting to be uncovered by a true and devoted searcher...
Bean just came out with their Bean squared. it starts at 69! How does that compare to this? And the sale price on these is half! Comparing apples closer to apples, and Bean does quite badly!
@@johnowens8530 we have not had the opportunity to look into the Bean Squared. Based on our experience Bean has been superior to other similar units. Thanks for watching.
@@JauntJunkies do you think the quality is superior to this Lance? Do you think Bean will give any discount at all? I have never seen them do this? This means their trailer starts at twice the price of the real world Lance price. That’s as bad as it gets on value in relation to price.
Nice review. Thank you. Don’t be a hater on the Northern Indiana RV industry. It supplies a lot of different RVs and jobs in this neck of the USA woods.
@@debbiehenry3626 thanks for watching. Never a hater on the jobs created. Our criticism is with the corporate cost cutting strategies that are decreasing quality throughout the rv industry. Indiana is the headquarters of the giant corporations.
@@anthonypanepinto9685 not much because when you get you gear loaded inside. But with the overalll weight being so low it is better to have the hitch weight. If you figure 10-15% hitch weight that is not much weight on the vehicle. Thanks for watching.
I wish i could afford a new truck and a duramax for that matter i have a 04 2500hd with 6.0 gas i love it but the elements of time is starting to show on it. I tow all ki ds of things with it to just not a fast as a diesel lol.
Most of these pickups with diesel engines have way more HP and torque then you need to pull. It's going down hill truck can get away from you and overheat the breaks. Key is like he says slow down follow road signs speeds use the engine brake as much as you can. Don't get lulled into thinking it's okay on the wider passes like Wolf Creek pass in Colorado it's a big 2 sometimes 3 lane highway it's steep grade and turns are sweeping at first so you think it's okay to go fast then a 180 turn comes up suddenly going 70 mph can't slow down too late. Even cars have gone off that 180 turn they get going 80-85 mph so easy suddenly they are trying to slow down for 180 degree turn.
We have a 2021 1995 Lance. What attracted us was dual axle for safety, large tanks (45/45/45) 3 full propane tanks, 400 watts of solar, full access to all trailer with slide in, heated tank bays, voluminous storage, large fridge, separate sofa and a full queen double that can be entered on either side and the lack of wood in construction. What would I add or change? I would have electric heating pads under the tanks. I believe that they have improved the new 1995’s with quieter heating and air conditioning and a water saver hot water system. The windows have also been increased and air flow improved. This is a trailer for people that like to move frequently and travel far.
Great video. Will you make a video of the Lithium battery converter change out? I have an older 5th wheel (2006) with two lead acid batteries. I would really like to make the change to lithium batteries but I have to change out the converter.
@@michaelweaver9264 this was a few years ago. I know it has went down. www.parrisrv.com. Should be able to give you up to date price. Thanks for watching.
We looked closely at the Lance 1995. We also looked at the Rockwood Minilite 2205. Same floor plan. We ended up going with the Rockwood. In the end while the Lance had a slightly better build quality. We didn’t think it was $25K better. Lance has lots of problems, just like every brand. When you look at how a Lance is built. They basically use the same building techniques as most of the big boys. In that respect I think Rockwood is doing a better job.
Why so confusing...the simple rule of thumb is before mounting to your truck bed..turn your truck to 45 degrees with the pin under your truck,if the 5th wheel cab not touching your truck rear window, mark the point n mount the pin connector to your truck..that way its 100% not touching your truck, give it allowance accordingly....
This manufacturer is copying Intech RV trailers. Reading on Encore's website, it states they started in 2021, Intech has been making all aluminum trailers for quite a long time. Intech has the Flyer line with a lower price point and the same build quality. I know the gentlemen in the beginning stated he hasn't seen a toy hauler this small, I would recommend looking at the Inech Flyer line then. Great video and it's good to see other manufacturers doing similar builds but the price point is a little higher on these compared to Intech.
If there is 1 thing that stops me from upgrading from my 21 Denali to 24 is the location of the brake controller and the waste of space in the entire center console. Ram does this way better. And the choice of a short box dually on Ram. But...I still think the Denali will be my next truck because the rest of interior is amazing.
It's funny that you say no umbrellas. Because we was fishing at Powell several years ago in some pretty deep water catching some huge fish. When I snagged into the biggest hardest (fish) that I have ever reeled in i fought it for over a hour. Then it came into view a big wet umbrella 🌂 spinning in a circle. My fish hook hooked right into the handle of it.
All it takes is one time for you to be frustrated when backing or turning sharply that you hit your cab. Don't mess around just get a slider and you will be much happier and with more peace of mind. I have a PullRite Superglide that's works flawlessly. I don't even feel the hitch sliding whether going forward or backwards.
You forgot to metion that you have to get on your hands and knees to connect the sewer dump hose. Getting on your hands and knees at the dump station is so pleasant...
