2023 Can-Am Defender Limited may just be the nicest side-by-side produced today. We were completely blown away by how far this machine has come from when it was released years ago.

I have the EXACT same machine sitting in my garage in Idaho. 250 miles, used for 1 week back in OCT 23. I live in TEXAS and have not been back to Idaho since Oct. I'd sell it if you're interested so I can get the 2024 with the front dif lock. My machine was ordered, I waited 9 months, and 3 days before the 2024 announcement, my machine came in, so I bought it. Only thing I did to it was install the LED bulbs. I think it has 8 hours on it and was planning on an oil change next time I see it.

@@cajunoneforchrist4545 not really sure what one with 250 miles on it goes for. I have 36k plus in it with the tax, title, destination charges. I cannot help but add here 1 month after the initial post that I just less than 24 hours ago bought the last 2023 Jeep Rubicon Gladitor pretty much fully loaded off a lot in Idaho for 14K more than I have in the Can Am. I don't need both of them now. Absolutely for sale at this point. Why anyone would pay 36,000 for one of these when you could buy a Rubicon Gladitor for 51K and change out the door is beyond me. Now I got a smokin deal, 21,000 off sticker, and it has 7 miles on the odometer. But you might want to look around as other jeep lot have them still.

The Pop out windshield would be good for hunters, one of our family friends usually hunts out of his old XRT since his back doesn't let his do much climbing or walking

The pop out windshield coupled with a .17 wsm and short bipod makes it an absolute ultimate gopher getter. Just sit in the comfortable drivers seat and plink away. Mobile bench rest.

The newer Can am and Polaris both have the form fitted seats so they have both come along way . I currently have a 2012 can am commander xt which isn't enclosed and I am looking to get an enclosed unit to use for winter and summer so it would need ac as well

With a cab kit A/C is a must for sure.

It gets hot in Utah in the summer so that option would be very good and that feature of a pop up windshield is a must for me on my new unit

It could be but also with the A/C might not need it. Buy it is a great option to have.

Love it however I prefer maneuverablily in the mountains so I would get the 3 seater over the 6 seater and I have been hunting for a Polaris but I could go for either

So after driving the Xpedition and the Defender, which would you choose if money wasn’t an issue? I’m looking to purchase one and I’m having a tough time deciding. Thank you

They are different machines. That is the tough part if I need Ed more utility defender all the way for a more sporty recreational ride the xpedition. I am a fan of Can am so it is a hard call. Mainly the tech in the xpedition sets it apart.

@@JauntJunkies that’s what I figured. Mine would be a bit more for work but after sitting in that Xpedition it is so much more comfortable. I think I would be willing to sacrifice the size of the bed for the comfort of the Xpedition. Any thoughts?

The steel cable for the door is a terrible engineering choice. I have a 2021 Defender Limited 2 door. If the door gets opened hard or in my case the new machines door latch was misaligned and didn't close all the way (didn't realize it at first) and when going down the road the door flew open. Which is another annoyance => the suicide doors. If it's going to use the cable then use a couple of them but there has to be something better.
