It can help. The camera will run for a lot longer at higher temperature before it needs to shut off. Shooting with the LCD screen away from camera can also help
In the inspector window there's a dropdown in the bottom left. Yours is probably set to 'Basic'. Change it to 'General' or 'Settings' and you should get the LUT option.

I just spent 2 days watching videos on all these cameras VS VS VS blah blah blah totally wasted my time all I needed was THIS one video. you're amazing! thank you!
Thanks. I learned something. And I still have to find out why my files have sound and video desynced upon import, with a few seconds of silence at the beginning.
@@CreativeTechLab I've not solved it yet, but it seems to be that sound is compressed differently than video. So I'm advised to change the settings in that respect. The strange thing is that I never had a problem with this before. (What changed?)
the slog3-s-gamut3.cine_to_s709_v200 downloaded from Sony website seems to work better for converting a7s3 to rec709. The one built in to FCP looks very bad on my footage. wonder why? I set my zebras to expose skin at 52 ire.... what am I doing wrong? I look like orange man. my keylight is 5600k and my camera whitebalance is set to 5600k.
