I wasn’t expecting results like this with a wide angle in the streets. I wanted an 85mm for street but now i’m inspired to just go out with my 16 and see what happens!

It definitely takes some getting used to. And there’s some cropping in some of the shots. But even with some of the heavier crops things turned out great.

Great to see you back Brother, believe it or not but i thought of you the other day thinking i not seen a vid from you in ages, im glad you did this video because i just purchased the Sony A7 IV and was looking for a decent lens, this gives me a better idea now, im surprised no one asks you on the streets about you taking photos, here in the UK people get paranoid thinking im taking a photo of them lol

I appreciate you keeping men in your thoughts. This lens is awesome. I even know some people that use it on full frame with like a A7iv. But if you have full frame cameras I’d look at the Sony 20mm 1.8 or the new Sigma lenses. Also most people are usually just going about their day and don’t even notice you. Plus the photo isn’t at all about them, it’s more about the framing and the composition. @@CreativeTechLab Anytime, thats fine, i will also look into Sony 20mm as well, thanks for the advice, im surprised the guy who walked past the window didnt say anything but like you said, its not always about them, i wish the people in the UK are like the ones in your town as its difficult for togs like me to shoot stree photography, i will check out the sean Tucker link, thanks for the advice as always. appreciate it

Thanks for watching. Yes I shoot raw and then edit in Lightroom. Over time I made a few presets that I sometimes use as a starting point.

Hi thanks for watching. For street photography I’m usually using Aperture priority mode and letting the camera dictate the shutter, with the aperture ranging from 1.4 to f8 depending on the look I was going for. In a bright day like this that’s good enough. But if I’m not getting a fast enough shutter I’ll bump up the ISO.

Yeah, not my favorite. The up shot was my favorite though. Quick question, are you going to upgrade your A7iii to the iv. I have a rx100 vii because of your review. But now I want that full frame camera for life. Which one would you choose? I would pair it with a 24-70 f2.8 because like you I don't want to be in people faces. Thank alot.

Hey what's up fam. I've been thinking about getting an A7IV I just don't have a real need for it right now. However if you're considering going full frame I would totally recommend it. It's a GREAT hybrid camera! If you're taking stills and video, it's 100% the way to go.

I've got the 16mm and yes, this is awesome for street photo... especially with a post crop ... (but I also want to try my 105mm...) :=)

Yeah the 16mm is amazing. But depending on the situation a longer lens can be great as well. I've never used a 105mm. But you can see the results I got with the 85mm on the a6400 here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Xpi1CzExFRk.html

Either reposition yourself or edit in photoshop.

Stop using the word "however" in every sentence... . I feel like everything you said about the 16mm 1.4 lens were all negative as if you're preventing all your viewers to buy the lens.
