Not exactly. The double check what bulb your projector takes and find a matching led. The LCI has a Bixenon projector and is high/low for the same bulb
You can make that motor a little quicker but it won’t be with these cars without spending money on things like Cams. Cheaper to buy a 3.0 than a set of Strict cams. An exhaust and a tune will definitely wake your car up though. Drivability changes as the throttle is more snappy and the Vanos advances timing sooner
gotta say man, this was a big inspiration for my build, ended up with a fully self ported and polished head, +2mm lift and duration cam, roller rockers, bbr valve springs, valve lapping, milled the head down, weisco 11:1 stock bore, 4k-12k rpm selectable cdi, oil cooler and more im sure I'm forgetting.
Sounds like it’s gonna be a blast. I had a hard time sourcing parts back when I built mine. Couldn’t find any reputable options for cams and springs that wasn’t $800
@@garbinsgarage kinda had the same issues but ended up finding an alibaba express one that was crf230 purpose built and claimed +2 mm for under $50 and the roller rockers where under $25 and actually the bbr valve springs costed about the same as roller rockers and cam combined. only down side was can and rockers where China shipped.
Great video. My b4's are coming next week. What do you think of them now? I was tempted by the b6 but want to use that extra cash for m3 control arms down the road.
I’ve had them for a year now and no complaints. I did white line sway bars as well. I would justify the price difference of b4/b6/b8 if I went with aftermarket springs. But even b4s are totally fine for that.
Hi I have a question but I need to either email or phone call to help me rewire the factory OEM LIGHTS WIRES OR GUIDE not so much tell me . Because I have replaced them w LED AND HAD UNWIRED AND DETACHED THE FACTORY HEAD LIGHT FROM THE FACTORY HARNESS . I don’t know how to explain it it’s about 30 pieces of wires nw.
😂 you got had. Thats not a Koso KSR PWK. Thats just a ChiNa copy. A real Koso KSR would have cost you $150 + shipping for just the carb. Dontt just read something a slant eye writes on fleabay and believe it.
@@garbinsgaragewhy didnt you go for B6? Im thinking which one to get. Found one the forums saying b6 raised your height up a bit. I have the oem sport package suspension. So thinking to get b4 too dont wanna go through the b6 headache
@@ricolam4916 I went mainly for the price being nearly half. I had a good discount at the shop I was working for and I also have factory springs. My ride height definitely did raise in the front by an inch mainly due to replacing the original collapsed top hats.
Hey man. Where did you get that CarPlay radio deck thing? Maybe drop me a link. I love the way it makes them look plus I wouldn’t mind having it for gps and music
I have a similar setup on my E82 - I purchased from motive supplies before realizing they are just a reseller for Andream. Search Andream and you'll find the unit for sale.
Helpful video, thanks. When you topped up the coolant did you use blue - I couldn’t tell. Lots of advice not to mix blue and green, I had green in mine and spent about 4 hours flushing it through with distilled water until it was clear and then changed in the blue coolant.
with the luk 550i clutch kit the throwout bearing has a high and low "setting" does it matter how its installed or does it only affect clutch pedal throw?
Do the low setting, that's what LUK says to do with that clutch kit. The high setting isn't designed for any US clutch kits I believe, so dont use it as it will mess your clutch up
It's the coolant temperature sensor not the oil temperature sensor. This video is bare minimum troubleshooting by a novice mechanic for this issue and fixing the issue can be far more involved. Listening to this dude cost me a $400 water pump I can't return
