Power top? Add six pack, A/C, PW, PS, Power 4 wheel disc brakes, PDL, tilt column, remote passenger side mirror, cruise and glass rear window with defroster would make it THE, 1 of 1 "Unicorn".
I had one exactly like this, different color. It was sky blue with a purple Flake in the clear. Different rim but same lift and tires. I miss it. Had it for a year when I was 19, back in 1999.
I just pulled one of these out of my uncles brush . Looks in great condition even on the interior . I want to do some maintenance on the 4 banger and see if she’ll love and live again
A Chevy two SS back in the day was a serious quarter mile machine A friend had one with a 327 putting out about 400 HP With cheater slicks and a tank of Sunoco 260. Wasn't much around In its class could catch it
Yeah hood needs some work but look at the driver side door is flush at the top and bottom sticks out about an inch or more! It's Cragars not Craigers!!
Beautiful Duster. I own a 70 340 Duster hemi orange, crazy fast so I no how much fun they are to drive and own . Thanks for sharing your video. MOPARS RULE !
If I ever had the occasion to pull into the Paramount Lot on Melrose, I would want to be in a ‘47 Cadillac convertible! (And they damn well better have a space reserved for me right next to Rosalind Russell’s coupé…)
I love the colors of cars of that period. Lots of olive greens, yellow ocres and golden browns. Perfect fit for cars like that. Unlike depressing black and boring gray of today. Ps. It's Le Baron (male) instead of La Baron (female) ;-)
We that car once. Road like a dream and that rear sliding window was the best invention Ford ever had. 😀 Ours did not have A.C. but in the summer we slid that rear window down, opened all the vents, and we could still cruise in relative comfort with the side windows rolled up. This kept the wind noise out of the interior.
Oh my. My father had this same year/model/color Merc back in the 70s. He always kept one or two "beaters" around because, altho I was too young to drive at that time, I had five older siblings who did drive. In the end, he sold it for scrap, because it would cost more $$ to fix it up than it was worth then. Now it's a collective! I always loved the breezeway window--a great idea!
Beautiful. But the dash panel is blue and doesn't match the body paint. My 69 had an am/fm radio, this has an aftermarket stereo. Lastly, I don't remember mine having a grab bar above the glove box. Also, i don't see a cigarette lighter and ashtray. Otherwise, it's beautiful.
I had a 68 Wildcat but it wasnt a convertible. She was Charcoal metalic with the chrome Buick mag style wheels. Had the 430 which was as good as the 455 only had less h.p&less torque. It rode great, handled great and was very reliable car. That Wildcat looks Cherry and it sounds good.Make sure to keep it garaged !!! ❤❤❤ that Wildcat!!!
Someone done a real fine job putting this car together 383 sitting in there looks factory i got a 69 valiant with a 440 4 speed don't look that good but runs like hell
