The owner of this really nice 73 Pontiac bought it from a private individual over a year ago. He didn't have to do much to the car except install all new A/C components and do some work on the nose, because it had the typical cracks like most of these cars end up with. He had his shop reinforce the nose a bit and repaint it so it looks great and should not crack again.
The car was a true factory Firebird Formula according to the vin. The data tag shows it was an orange car and does have the W66. The front of the block has the stamping WC which is not a 400 ci in 1973, but is however in 1978. It also has a casting number of 400. We know by the VIN# that the car came from the factory as a Formula 350. However, the owner has no paperwork on the car. It is obvious the car is a 400 now and is badged as a 400. There is dual exhaust and the undercarriage is in excellent condition. He car is equipped with power steering , power brakes, and the /c will be completed shortly. The transmission is a 3 speed automatic with a B&M shifter. When photographing the car, I saw no flaws in the paint. The interior is in good condition and may be original. There is a crack in the dash which is covered with the dash pad. This car runs and drives great. It did not rattle when we rode in it, and handled well. Be sure to look for it on eBay soon.
