Florida native… (FloGrown) 🌴 Born in Daytona Beach ☀️ Nature Junkie 🌊
Welcome to my video diary!
I find that starting my day off at the beach really helps to set a peaceful tone for my day.
Subscribe to see uploads regularly from the beaches near Daytona, which will undoubtedly include lots of seagull shenanigans 🐦
I only spend 5-15 minutes at the beach on a typical day and you just never know what the day will bring! Some days the focus is the sky or the landscape, other days… it’s the birds, the people, the pier, the waves, sharks, dolphins… It’s just completely random, much like life in general 😌
I record in 4K/60FPS on my iPhone and upload at full quality…
BIG thanks to all who take the time to watch, comment, subscribe and/or like 👍🏼
Looks good but crap as… Two years here now to see 80% of the time it’s windy ass weak ass wave that don’t quite wall up enough to ride until it’s break in 5 inch of water and dumping. When it is in deep enough water and the swells ok it closes out on average. Continental plates a beachhhh
@@Flippy_808 it definitely has its moments… think 3 years Hawaii and 8 years California made me see a different class of wave. I hoped here be more like Cornwall where I learned to surf back in the 90’s but that continental shelve makes it not as good as it could be.
I've caught so many great waves at this place, behind the Sun Viking, Sunglow and we used to go to a spot between North Turn and the inlet we dubbed the secret spot. used to be a concrete slab we parked on and the waves would be really good and nobody in sight.
Good times! Thnx for sharing your story :) I’m beyond blessed for having lived my entire life seeing these beaches! How long since you’ve been to your ‘secret spot?’ 👀 I don’t think you can drive on that part of the beach now 🥺 Most of Ponce is closed to beach traffic now. As a local, even I’m confused, smh! So many ramps are closed, so many miles on beach closed to cars… blah blah…
@@Flippy_808 looking on google maps I'm pretty sure someone has built there and it's been literally decades. moved to Jacksonville to go to UNF so I just came back down this way about eight years ago. labor day in '81 my friend and I were standing on the walk down to Sun Viking and two huge sharks came swimming up in a wave. scared the hell out of us and we were on dry land.
Good eye! I looked back at the footage… I was panning left at the UFO flew to the right. So, it is hard to tell just what the heck it was, but I did see forward-facing wings in one frame, which leads me to believe it is indeed a bird 🐦
What a beautiful video! Love the waves drenching the rocks. The hues of the sky. Very relaxing. Your filming was very good and enjoyed soft piano music. Thank you.
I absolutely love your channel! I am really into breath work and meditation. This is something of great value what you are capturing. Thank you! You’re choice of music in both your shorts as well as your vids are on point. Love love love this 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Thank you so much TNT, I appreciate that! The beach is so many different things to so many different people… I really enjoy sharing my perspective of it. Aren’t we so lucky to call this home? 😀🌊🌴☀️
