Just totaled up all the parts on pc part picker and they totaled $660 not including operating system. $339 additional Corsair is charging is not worth them bundling the parts and providing a video. If anything the price should be less than pc part pickers as Corsair is buying in bulk. RIP OFF.
Xotic PC is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with with any sort of retail. They sold me an $8000 broken computer could not figure out how to fix it. Sent it back and they damaged it and now they won’t refund my money. They have since told me that my broken computer has been taken apart and the parts have been put back on the shelf. Everyone please stay very far away from this company. They are liars and they are thieves.
Very interesting. I didn't see any all Type-C AMD boards. Will there be any all Type-C AMD boards? It's curious that an X870-E chipset based MB only has 1 x PCIE-5 x 4 M.2 slot. My Asus ProArt X670-E Creator WiFi has 2 x PCIE-5 x 4 M.2 slots and 2 x PCIE-4 x 4 M.2 slots. How can the older chipset have more PCIE-5.0 support then a newer chipset?
Hi Sir. My windows 10 pc is old but still works great. It will no longer be supported in 2025. My core i7 motherboard is not compatible with a windows 11 upgrade. I'm a novice. I live in Dallas TX. My budget for a new pc is 1500. I want core i9, water cooled, 16 - 32gb of ram, an optical drive, 2 - 1tb hard drives, high end graphics card, windows 11, blue tooth and wire connector, and a card reader. I do gaming just 4 hrs a week. Mostly I watch videos a lot and download tons of stuff. Is it possible to get all that with my budget? I could go as high as 2000, a hardship but doable. What would you charge me for such a device?
I used to work for them left because my pay kept getting changed and orders were backlogged soooo far that we had to tear them down to use in new builds
Have a budget of around €1500 for a newer pc , so that 1st King95 is looking very tempting . Do you know if they ship to Ireland and expensive to do so ? appreciate the recommendations! Gained a sub /like 😎
@braethorn I signed up to the spreadsheet but can't see myself on it 😅 gonna be tough to catch you at 3am in the morning on a workday for me , if you ever get a chance to go threw my request I'd be very grateful 🙏
Just purchased the SkyTech Legacy 4 from Newegg just two days ago. list price $2799 and got it for $2199. 7800X3D, 4080 Super, 32 GB RAM 5600mhz, 1TB M.2 drive. The case is interesting, Antec P1 but can't beat that price for the CPU-GPU combo.
I recently had Alexander build me a very high end PC, thanks to you. Great company! I even had an issue with the RAM when it showed up and they went above and beyond helping me with it. Alexander PC's is 10/10
Why would you recommend a skytech 7800 X 3D with a 7900 xtx for over 2500$ you could literally build this PC yourself and instead of using a 7900xtx 😅😂 you can put a 4090 in there for the same damn price I think I'll build it myself and take the 4090 instead for the same price its moronic the GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4090 WINDFORCE V2 24G goes for 1600$ the cheapest 4090 out there
Wait...you can BUILD a PC yourself??? And it's CHEAPER??? You mean it costs MORE to get a pre-built??? Because they build it for you, test it, add a warranty, and other stuff people other than you care about??? Good thing I mention this in literally every episode of SIW lmao 5:33
Hi looking to buy a gaming pc I would the the best processor out it's mainly going to be for gaming . My price range is 4gs and up nothing pass 6 any suggestions?
I just got a 7800x3D, 64 GB of DDR5 6000 CL 30 RAM, a 4070 Super OC, 6 TBs of space, a 360 MM AIO, and 7 Mastercool MF 120 RGB fans for 3k from PhynixPC. They don't offer a lot of selections, so maybe that is why they don't get talked about a lot... but I got more for the same price as a lot of these.
Thanks for letting us build it for you! We don't offer too many options on our website due to us being so small but we provide free consultations and are open to any custom requests one might have for their build.
@@PhynixPCs My only "feedback" would be to offer an AMD GPU option for an all AMD build. The price would come down and make it more accessible in this economy. I know you can do fully custom builds... but I didn't think to ask. BUT... all in all I am happy with my PC. I've watched Braethorn do enough PC match-making to see that the price I paid was fair, and I do think I got more bang for my buck at Phynix than I would have if I went to another SI.
I've featured them in probably like a dozen videos lol They're awesome, and yeah, they'll be cheaper than a boutique builder. No surprise there. Pretty sure I went over boutique pricing in the video.
First time I have heard the actual correlation of GHz to IPC and why it matters. 👍👍 Excited to see the unboxing video and your thoughts on the new chips.
I’m interested in buying IBUYPOWER RDY Y40RG201! You recommended it to me for streaming, some 1440p gaming and content creation… is it still a great choice?!
As long as you don't mind having to use low profile PCIe add-in cards for additional USB or capture card, it's good. I generally prefer more standard cases for streaming systems since the Y series of cases from HYTE don't accommodate standard size add-in cards.
@@braethorn ok thanks yeah I plan on using an elgato usb capture card. Should I wait for a price drop on it like u recommend with the new tech coming out?! I don’t care for 9000 series, I want this setup cheaper! 😂
Thanks! Honestly, I wish I hadn't called it a "weekly" show. There are times when I don't feel like there's anything relevant to showcase and I don't like making meaningless content.
Glad it worked out for you! I generally recommend buying directly from the SI instead of going with a third-party retailer, but it's not a deal breaker.
Can you not use a mini display port to hdmi cable that supports “4K@60hz” and plug it in the mini DP port on the touch panel and plug the hdmi end either into the hdmi header on my X670E pro X motherboard? The one that’s attached to the actual board not the back one on the IO shield. That way I’m not tremendously hindering my gaming PC’s performance from using another display port on my GPU? My mobo manufacturer says the hdmi header is there specifically for display screens to monitor temps and shit like that but they rate it at like 30hz which I don’t care about cause literally the only thing I’m gonna do is monitor my temps. I don’t need nor do I want any ridiculous animated wallpaper or play games on it or anything else! Temps and usage ONLY!!
Using an additional DP port on your GPU doesn't hinder your gaming performance at all if it's just being used for standard display. If you run a game separately on it, then sure, it'll stress the GPU, but just showing telemetry won't affect that. As for the on-board HDMI, as long as you have your integrated CPU graphics enabled in BIOS, you should be able to use an HDMI to DP adapter for the HYTE Y70 screen.
@@braethorn I’ve seen all kinds of post online about the touch Y70 and they say the nexus app is so bad it hogs ram usage and hinders performance and FPS tremendously. I don’t plan on using any animated wallpaper I just want the “performance” tab on the screen to monitor my cpu and gpu temps with some other peripheral’s that are important. Do I have to leave the nexus app running in the background down in the tab in the bottom right corner or can I close it out and the temps and stuff still be displayed or will it shut the display down? And thank you for the quick response by the way!! I really enjoyed your lengthy video on this beautiful build!! This will be the first PC I’ve ever built and I’m still trying to figure out where to plug my AIO in at. I don’t have a “AIO_PUMP” header I just have a CPU_OPT and a CPU_FAN with a ton of system fan headers. I have the gigabyte aorus X670E pro X mobo for AMD.
I agree with how GN should have reached out to LTT for comment. This could have “just” been at the very end right before publishing. That’s a common way news organizations will do it with a story like this
If a company uses some of the worst AI generated “art” you’ve seen to try and show off their brand instead of showing their actual product, chances are their product isn’t going to be brilliant.
You most likely need to install the drivers for the adapter. You will need to temporarily plug in your PC to your router with an ethernet cable to download the drivers from Asus' page. Or you can use another PC with working internet and then transfer the driver installer to your new PC via flash drive.
Enjoyed this video very much. I came across your channel while looking for a review on Build Redux and have watched a lot of your content. Well done sir.
Plan to fill out your form one of these days, I know nothing about computers but need to get a good desktop to replace my laptop (that can play basic games).
