Got my first pre-built from ibuypower thanks to your recommendation 2 years ago! I'm only just now needing to start thinking about upgrades, so it's served me well!
@braethorn hey have you checked out exotic pc, just come across them and a couple things caught my attention that I have a couple questions on. For example the gx13 hyte y60 for 4k has a 4080 an 1000w power supply 2tb storage while the hyte red eye for 6k has a 4090 with a 850w power supply and I think a 1tb storage. Was wondering why that is.
I've checked a lot of pre-built PC sites, and ibuypower was the only site that really gives you a 2tb with what you're buying. Was the reason why I bought a rdy system with the 4070 ti in it cause it was a solid value. Even buying all the parts myself would have been more expensive than what I was purchasing. Plus I really like the Hyte y60 case, and everything runs amazingly cool. Even got a 4k monitor to run with my 4070 ti and it's crazy good with over 100fps and then some still.
I really enjoy the I buy powers that I bought one in January one in February and I really like them they're a good company looking at buying another one
I bought a ibuypower pc in 2012. It was my first prebuilt and it was an amazing system. I never had an issue with that pc. I would recommend them to anyone that are eyeing a pc this holiday season.

i bought an ibuypower prebuilt about... 3 years ago.. it was an entry lvl gaming pc with a ryzen 3 3100 paired with an rx 570. not knowing alot about pcs and for what i wanted to do gaming wise i was told by a very tech savy friend that it was a great value with paths to upgrade in the future.. 3 years in and i still love it and am currently in the process of upgrading. i already upgraded the ram from the single stick of 8gb ddr4 3000mhz ram to 4 8gb ddr4 3200 sticks.. upgrading the cpu a ryzen 5 5700x and the gpu to a rx7600. and installing a tower fan and 2 extra fans on top for some extra intake.. the only problem i have had was one of the front fans on my died.. the rgb still works. the fan itself died after about a year or so. this was easily fixed by watching some videos and having my tech savy friend help me with the wiring. but other than that i have been nothing but happy.
I have bought two so far and they have been great. I am trying to buy a third. But for some reason it has been over two weeks and it hasn’t left the building yet. I bought it through Walmart. They made a shipping label for it, but crickets since. I am getting concerned anyone else have a similar situation? Thanks in advance hopefully someone from ibuypower will see this. i bought an ibuypower gaming pc sadly from amazon(3 years ago and it had much older parts in it---i didnt reserch...lesson learned). I sold it 8 months later on fb marketplace for barely half...like i said lesson learned. with that being said i recieved it....and rgb wasnt working and cooler temps were terribly. what wasnt terrible was they customer service. they walked me thru and resolved it thru RMA. also the rep suggested a better cooler(a budget cooler) and got the temps to where they should be. I would buy directly but, i want a wgite case(which they dont carry to my knowledge) and i wan a case with really great air flow and not their plastic front that they keep doing(more of personal preferrance...lol).
They do sometimes have white RDY systems! Also, you can always go through their custom builder instead, they have a good number of case options there and you get to choose every component 👍
CPPC can be price competitive, but I've been getting negative reporting on their customer support for a while now. The experience they had in the LTT video should give you a good idea of why I don't talk about them much.
My experience was bad to average, got a prebuild December 2022 and the power supply died in less than a month. The only options i was given was either send the pc back and pay for shipping and repair, or pay them for a new power supply and send their propietary broken power supply at my cost for a refund. I picked option 3, buy a new power supply at bestbuy and never buy anything from ibupower again. Having said that, the other components in the prebuild were good quality for the price, especially when compared to a similar priced prebuild from another SI
If it was less than a month, IBP should have covered shipping for the RMA, and a few reports from community members have lined up with that. Not sure why they didn't do that for you 😕
