I was thinking about stealing this idea but I don’t have enough in my collection, the ones that came to mind are the jam, beat happening, Dead moon, the rats, and the plugz. I need to pick up that let’s action record, good cheapie. Cool to see some Billy childish. Love that wipers record, but I think Greg sages two solo albums are even better. I really dig the paisley under ground stuff so I’ll have to check out the Salvation Army album
Hey George, thanx for stopping by to visit my channel. I enjoy the videos you make, and it seems your love of obscure/ underground / indie music really shines through!! Keep on Rockin’!
As a young person, maybe it is my attention span but I couldn’t get into Sandinista. Iv never owned it and herd it through streaming but even with breaks it was too much, especially since I’m not a fan of there brand of mock reggae, that’s my big problem with London calling. I think the poster did exactly what it ment to be, piss off a bunch of squares. Mines an early layer press and doesn’t have a poster but has an alternative tentacles mail away thing. I love that agent orange album. I couldn’t get into the Melvin’s. Cool video hope you do more
HALO OF FLIES 'No Time' Amphetamine Reptile. taint Rollins at all. purposely missing any lame reference, there, to such a personage. what a to-do... an excellent era. the only guy in my proxy lard arsed village com township who enjoyed the American breast knuckles and beer trailer trash schtick....
I’m watching this video, amazed on have times have changed, I’m looking at the views on this stuff vs the views on a a video of some eating takis… if y’all going to another planet, I’ll like to go to.
Thanks for watching! That was a long time ago. I made several other videos disrespecting GW and Cheney… but at some point they were removed/ deleted by RU-vid. Maybe this one was too subtle to be considered offensive??
I had to watch this twice, because the distractions were actually distracting. The way they turned something needed into a comedy and drama made me feel like did you really want me to overcome or did you want me to be suppressed. 🤔🤔🤔
I swear that was me and I have a scare to prove Wasn't ready for Fucken Punks and landed Hard! Way Hard. Life lesson's with the Adolescents! Gotta be another story somewhere. I know I fucken loved and lived this shit BIG TIME!
What a great record! Glad it showed up in such great condition. Pretty wild how much they are going for now. I like that you do needle drops too, very cool. The Mats on SNL is pure gold haha! Great video! Cheers
Hey Ryan, thanks for the inspiration to make this video! 😀 I’d encourage everyone in the VC to subscribe to your channel; your knowledge and enthusiasm for Punk Rock music is much needed in the vinyl community! 😎
Hey Man. I saw you left a comment on my 50 90ies LPs video yesterday, but for some reason I can't see it. Really weird. I could only read t...he first few words, wher you mention some 1990s listening group...
Howdy! Thanks for letting me know... yes very strange. I kinda suspect the comment was blocked because I mentioned a specific website that I use for rating & ranking albums. It's a valuable tool that I'd highly recommend to anyone in the VC, or fans of music in general. But also, I wanted to show appreciation for your videos... Man, I could listen to you talk about music for hours :) Your 50 favorite albums of the 90's is right up my alley; since I've been working my way through albums of the 90's decade, in chronologic order, for past few years. This month I just started on 1998, with a goal to rate and rank my Top 200 favorite albums of that year. It's a very extensive listening project, and sometimes quite maddening, lol. But your video introduced me to a dozen or so albums of which I didn't have any previous knowledge. Among those, my favorite is Locust "The Truth Is Born In Arguments". Great recommendation, thank you!
@@NoisyBeast that Locust album maybe is even more relevant now than it was then. But by all means, I’d be curious to know if the other few discoveries you made there, maybe on the video comments section. I went to check that site btw, but found it very statistical so far. Will need to find my way. But maybe Discogs is enough for me. Nice chatting with you!
Hey Scooter from TX!! There’s a rich heritage of classic punk / weird ass psych from Texas that may be unknown to many.... but some of my all-time favorites; Butthole Surfers, Scratch Acid, Big Boys, Really Red, Daniel Johnston, Roky Erickson & 13th Floor Elevators (of course), ZZ Top, just tons of great music from the Lone Star state!! It’s a topic I might need to feature here😃. Thanks for watching!
Saw the Cows 3 times, what a band, Mega, i have a great Am Rep collection, almost every Cows release, and lots of other bands....... God Bullies, saw them as well, fantastic, bring back Amphetamine Reptile records, and all the bands, they rule.
