I have never smoked weed (or any narcotics, or even cigarettes for that matter) and I am still in favor of legalizing Marijuana, since it is based on the same principle of alcohol and cigarettes, and voting etc being legal.

i admit, it is getting abused. in california you can actually get a mari card for literally anything. also, medical marijuana machines are getting robbed or atempted to be broken into. everyone remembers the first week that the first marijuanna machine was put out, they caught a man with his arm stuck inside it...
you can have highly addictive painkillers like morphine and various derivitives, you can have vicodin and oxycontin, but you cannot have (physically) non-addictive marijuana, which you cannot fatally overdose on, to manage uncurable pain? it makes no sense.
I just don't know why Bill Maher hosted this show...shouldn't someone a little more neutral host it so as not to sway the agenda? You have the radical conservatives and radical liberals as guests on the show to give such extreme opinions but the host should try to be more neutral. JMO.

Actually medicinally used marijuana is very effective for bone pain, and other types of pain that doctor presribed pain meds with many less side effects and does in FACT induce an appetite in cancer patients.
