Bit worried about the lid not screwing on. I think that a push on lid would be fatal for me as I would most likely drop it, or lay down cor a nap it might leak if it falls flat o to the mattress.
To be honest I went there in 2019 and it was kinda horrible. The carpets were really noticeably dirty, they were a different color near the walls than they were in the center from traffic. The rooms, pool, and actual food were all blah at best. The Omni Homestead is only able to charge that much because of the historic significance and the recently reopened natural hot springs. They’re pirates, frankly. The rest of the town is so depressingly impoverished, too.
Sorry your experience was like that! I know that they had a recently completed $150 million renovation to restore the resort. Our experience was outstanding and the staff were incredibly helpful. It is a historic resort so it will not be like a brand new hotel but I find the history to add its own charm to the entire experience
You know it’s a really weird feeling seeing people on the internet talking about and being places you’ve been I don’t know it’s just a weird feeling like hey they’ve been there too and tons of other people talking about them going there like I obviously know other people go but you never think about it 🤔🤔
