It is supposed to be shocking that social media skyrocketed the popularity? I thought that was a given. What I find crazy is the number of people who have whole collections of these (or Yeti or any other brand). I understand having a couple in different sizes but the consumerism behind getting multiple of the same one in the latest colors is beyond me lol. I have a small collection of 2 Yetis for everyday coffee and smoothies, a Camelbak for tea or travel since it seals, a waterbottle also Camelbak, and am considering a 24oz straw Meoky or Simple Modern for general on the go drinks when my 16oz coffee cup is in use. I can't imagine increasing beyond that just for new colors & am even fighting with myself whether I need the straw cup or should just use what I have. Of course the rest of my family each has one or two of their own as well, but I mean for a single person.

I thought it was a 'fashion' trend, but recently got a knock off tumbler and damn it just so far seems to be an exceptional design the massive size lets you drink tonnes of water you can choose to sip it, to close the lid, or to use a thick straw and when using the thick straw you need to suck so much, so that when the water does come you'll have drank a lot, which is good the handle although bold makes carrying the heavy bottle easy as apart from the lid and maybe straw? (and handle) it's all metal, so it should be durable and good for hot drinks it's great they also designed for it to be compatible for cup holders theres no weird folds so it would be simple enough to hand wash
