Good review. I traveled this month with Finnair in premium economy between Helsinki and Tokyo for the outward and return journey and I was very disappointed especially on the return journey by the quality of the food served, especially the starter, the dessert for the main meal but also by the breakfast for the return flight. Even if the seat was ok, I think that next time I will prefer an Asian company to return to Asia in premium economy
Interesting that you were asked whether you were staff. They would normally know that from the passenger info list. I am watching this as I am considering taking advantage of a reasonable F Class offer on QR.
Lovely video. What a shame that you were not offered the full business class service like meal choices.i am surprised that main cabin customers were allowed to use the forward washroom.
Thank you for your comment! ☺ Yes the meal service was slightly confusing and the crew should have stopped passengers queuing and filling up the business class cabin 😅
I stayed at the airport hotel but BKK always has Grab drivers available throughout the night ☺ It sometimes takes about an hour to get into the city centre of Bangkok from BKK airport though 😅
@@ThatBritishHongKonger thanks for the reply. I was looking at flights and Ethiopian was the cheapest for business at hkd3500. Do you remember what the luggage allowance was? Could u not use the Singapore airlines lounge at Hong Kong ?
@@jobychan4857 I just checked my confirmation email and the luggage allowance was 3 pieces of 23kg check-in luggage with 2 pieces of 7kg carry-on baggage. Seems quite good! Also in hindsight I really should have used the Singapore Airlines lounge - the check-in agent didn't mention it but I should have remembered! 😅
Thanks! The recline was really good, and being in the last row of Premium Economy meant I could recline for the whole flight without disturbing anyone 😅
@@ThatBritishHongKonger was the recline the same being the last row, it looked like it didn't in your video. i've booked those same seats to Bangkok next year. thank you!
@@JMay-p4l The recline might not have been exactly the same but it certainly felt good enough for sleeping! And of course the best thing about the last row is being able to recline for the whole flight without bothering anyone behind, which is something I'll take over a few extra cm of recline 😅
@@baconoverflow4384 I’d go for the aisle seat at the front! Especially on a long-haul flight so you don’t have to ask your neighbour to move when you want to go to the restroom 😅 And the extra legroom would also be great!
@@CatherineSui-Miller Thank you so much and congrats on running London!! 🥳 London has been on my bucket list for a while now but I just never get through the ballot 😂
The worst hotel. April 2024 only stayed two nights and this hotel charged my credit card three times total of $1100. The hotel even charged those day I wasn't even come to Vietnam. I have been claiming my money through Expedia and my bank couldn't refund. Even send a person to claim my money. The hotel keep pushing the problem away. Do not stay this hotel!!!
Wow - this was such an excellent video. Love that you genuinely seem to appreciate every dimension of the experience...zero entitlement like some other commentators. Your voice is easy to listen to...unhurried delivery is appreciated. Just took my first flight with Qatar recently. I was blown away by the entire experience. They are hands-down the best airline IMHO
@@ppj1115 Wow thank you so incredibly much for your lovely comment! It has truly made my day ☺️ I’m glad to hear you enjoyed your Qatar experience too - they’ve never let me down 😄
One time when we were our drinking in austria my friend walked all the way back home to Balzers. it was about the same distance that you were running it took him about 4 hours hahahah
Since I'm from MNL the way I see it it's this CX = QR > PR. On MNL-DOH both ways QR > PR685/684 that meant qsuite > Thompson vantage XL. Regarding Doha to MNL you have a Filipino crew same way as a CX 6x HKG-MNL
