Good job, I would recommend the 3 amp hour battery or 5 amp hour battery. I just burned out the brushes after a couple years of abuse. So I went out and bought another one. I already have the Hercules 6 1/2 circ saw but I like to have one of each Bauer and Hercules tools. Got it on sale for less than 30 bucks this time. Great deal! They are probably coming out with a brushless 6 1/2 circ saw from Bauer, so the older stuff gets cheaper.
Just want to bring you up to date on Bauer batteries. I bought a new power tool that will only except original batteries now, they have a chip that can tell if you have their battery installed. I have a adapter that uses Makita batteries, this new tool will not operate with it anymore. Times they are a changing again. Oh by the way, a fully charged 20v Battery 5ah will read at 20.9 volts. A lot of people ask for that.
Maybe make fishing videos there buddy! Or some of your campfires with night vision camera!! I'm going to tune back in later, to see if you are able to get a fish off your hook.
So I just purchased this yesterday open box because it was missing the low pressure hose. I can order a new one from HF, but what are the chances I can just use one from a hardware store that fits too?
I hope since you made this video you got the more red colored 3 amp faster charger or even better the double charger that will charge 2 batteries at once 4 amps each at the same time!
Would you say the hammer drill is good for a beginner? I have the regular drill driver. I’m looking expand out to an impact driver and possibly the hammer drill.
You will be happy that plastic guard is there when your hand slips or kick back, I lost a finger on industrial job.So that useless thing might save your hand.... Just saying.
I bought the 3h battery and charger got this free not sure if its the same one as mine 6” but worked really well cut all day 2*4 2*6 and also bought the angle drill and i drilled 4” holes in the kitchen joice through wafer light openings to run wire best money spent
Why does water/debris shoot out the back exhaust port? I called Bauer but no help. Makes no sense that when in vaccum mode to have agitated air blasting out the backside. Anybody got thoughts on this? Other than that it works well. Thanks for your insight.
I know this is an older video but I feel like it's important to throw this out there. With these battery-powered chainsaws you want to think of the battery being in them as the same as a gas saw being started. So it's fairly dangerous to be touching the chain while the battery is in it because you're one step away from that saw turning on. Just my two cents, thanks for the review.
