Another triumph! I love the end result. At first, I thought the belt loops should be added. But seeing the complete outfit, the loops might be too much. And who cares about the inside seams. When you are working at Christian Dior’s Haute Couture atelier taileur, making garments that cost more than my house, you can worry about clean-finishing the seams.
It's so hilarious to see items from shows/movies "in real life" 😂 here's everything I scored when we went to the prop sale from "The Boys" 📺 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ivG2ooFvB1M.htmlsi=TDUlRSRU9VNegN4X
Omg your energy is just so fun! I bought a beautiful little summer dress from a retro clothing shop in Glasgow last summer (airline lost my luggage so I decided to use it as an excuse to go thrifting haha). I have kind of big arms and the sleeves are just a bit tight around the bottom so I’m looking for ways to fix that so it’s more comfortable. This gives me some ideas!
Yay! Thank you & welcome to my wonderful world of refashioning ♻️ I have more groovy upsizing tutorials here: ru-vid.com/group/PL7dZmqeknPlgJVbHv_tSxrR7VXJGxXgLO&si=1CpwTRvZVTJ4LsmB
+1 for the bidet. I've used one for many, many years and hate having to use public bathrooms because they don't have bidets. It's just feels gross to not use one. You did a great job on the bathroom! It looks a thousand times better than it did when you first moved in. And the curtains are very cute!
I became a fan of bidets when I lived in Tokyo in the 90s & was thrilled when I moved to Europe & found they were totally normal there too! 😊🚿 a clean 🍑 is a happy 🍑
We get such random items in the "surprise bags" from too good to go that I'm always improvising recipes - I was truly shocked that this is so good! Who knew sour cream could work so well as a chicken topper?
Upsizing is such a great way to keep your outgrown items in your wardrobe (+ it makes them extra unique) 😀 I've shared loads of upsizing DIYs on my channel: ru-vid.com/group/PL7dZmqeknPlgJVbHv_tSxrR7VXJGxXgLO and blog too: t.ly/V0oqb
I really like this! And the photo recreation is perfect! Now I’m thinking about how I can enlarge some items I haven’t worn since I added some acreage to my Ponderosa. 😁
I agree, but depending on what is causing the stress there are options, for instance if you are stressed about family then talking could help. If it's money then charity's could help out, if it's work related then try to remember you are only one person, try not to put too much on your own shoulder's.... And finally if it's moody teenagers (like mine) then I have no answer, but if you do I'm desperate to hear it. 😉
This was a silly lip sync to a viral tiktok sound BUT it is pretty accurate & relatable for anyone who is not part of the 1% 😂 - Thankfully my teen is not moody (yet) 😁 - Not having any actual family or friends is definitely a bonus sometimes as stress from them is non-existent 🤪 - I'm not sure what charity gives out money but the ones here only ask for it (I'm not eligible for any kind of gov't assistance as my basic bills are "too high" - wtf??) - Unfortunately I'm a one-woman show so everything is on my shoulders and I cannot afford to pay for any staff to help lighten the load - Perimenopause is making life a living hell and finding a doctor that will help is proving to be impossible. That said I will continue to try everything I can think of to keep climbing that slippery iceberg of success! 🥰 Sharing and engaging with my content absolutely helps me to be "seen" and hopefully discovered enough by the algorithm to push my work out to a larger audience.
Thanks very much! 💗 I've upsized a few more things with granny squares since this tutorial - check out the latest DIY here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WVxpsCMzpsQ.htmlsi=esxCIjU2mJ4AIPhk
I love, love, love all 3! I can understand why the boots were worn to death. They remind me of a great pair my mother bought for me as a Christmas gift a million years ago. My mom is gone and so are the boots, but this brought back good memories. You picked perfect trim for the boots, and perfect tie for the bag.
Ms Fix-it here, can’t say my kids take advantage of my super powers but wish they would help dear old mom (65 years old) and learn to be more self reliant. Fashion sewing ✔️ drapery hems ( let them hang a week then pin for hand or machine stitch) ✔️dishwasher, lawnmower, clothes dryer, basic auto and home repair (RU-vid 🏆) ✔️ Silly me, Child of the 1970’s and stubborn as …. DIY all you can ❤ Thanks for asking
I'm with you on everything! 😁 I'm attempting to get my teen more involved in learning some DIY skills but am so far incredibly unsuccessful at making it seem "exciting" enough 😅 she absolutely loves it when I use my skills for her benefit though 🤣
I had to go through menopause cold turkey. My husband had a stroke and wanted constant attention. At the same time my daughter was struggling with health problems which everyone believed were fake. many years later she was diagnosed with endometriosis.
Thanks for sharing 💓 it's absolutely unacceptable & insane that the medical community has never & continues to not take perimenopause/ menopause symptoms seriously 😑 if men experienced even half what we do there'd be free medications available in every store! 😠
People are always coming to me as a life coach or business advise since I grew up in a business oriented family, went to business school and have lived through relationship hell in my personal life. Cooking, mothering and sales advice also.
I’m my families sock maker, toy repair person, and stuffy surgeon…. I love being able to do it and tbh if I didn’t have to worry about paying rent or buying food, I’d fix everyone’s toys and stuffies
Ah yes, the BRAIN FOG attack! When I was 33 rheumatoid arthritis came to visit and stayed. It caused lotso brain fog that was exacerbated by the prescription medications the rheumatologist put me on. I would lose my train of thought midway through a sentence it was so bad. And I was fired from a job because of it. When menopause hit it got worse yet. Stopped taking all prescription meds on the advice of a general practitioner who also recommended drinking coffee and eating dark chocolate...both which are anti-inflammatory. Guess what...doing this helped me a TON! I can think straight again!! I was able to get back into my hobby of quantum physics and now I'm teaching myself higher math to better understand my hobby (yeah, I'm learning calculus...which causes brain aches, lol).
Gen X here, RU-vid is perfect for us, you can learn all kinds of skills. I taught myself a lot of traditional skills, sewing, knitting, embroidery. I've been asked to make Halloween costumes, sew on patches, hem etc. I did draw the line at making couch cushion covers. 🙄
Absolutely 😃 I've shared many tutorials showing how to do that in my upsizing playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PL7dZmqeknPlgJVbHv_tSxrR7VXJGxXgLO&si=R6wDebkSdcSqN1Ef
Thanks! 💗 I've already picked my next one, I just need to save up for it! 🤑 here's more posts about my tattoos: awesomesauceasshattery.com/category/behindthescenes/my-tattoos/
