After he said that to all of the students, That's where Harry was trying his best to have a conversation with Dumbledore, Dumbledore hears Harry's voice as he says to himself by going, "It's Harry, I have to get out of here. Fudge wants me to ignore him." because Fudge tells him that he is not allowed to talk to Harry. It looks like Dumbledore doesn't care about everything. He doesn't care when Malfoy says his only line to Harry that he is going to Azkaban after he uses the Patronus charm to get the Dementors away from Dudley. I noticed that they were laughing as they walked away. Harry orders Malfoy to stay away. I was going to be worried that Malfoy was going to race back into Harry's side as he tells him that he is not going to stay away. He was going to say, "No Potter, I am not going to stay away, I can pick on you whenever I want. The one thing that you're not going to do is telling Dumbledore about this because everything that I said to you is true. So I am right and you are wrong because you are going to Azkaban for good." I can tell that they are very excited that Harry has been expelled from Hogwarts. But it turns out that he is not going to be. But one of the weirdest scenes is when Ron got mad at Hermione's cat again. I thought Ron was being told to leave Crookshanks alone. Because Hagrid told him not to mention the cat again. But Ron didn't care. It looks like Ron will be saying, "Forget what Hagrid says, I am going to get mad at that cat again." because he was mad over the fact that he had eaten the ear.
Michael Gambon is a good actor, but I don't think he's that great like many people say. Clearly this isn't a very good casting, and many roles aren't match the books well since PoA.
He doesn't have any of the warmth of Richard Harris's Dumbledore. I think if Michael Gambon had tried to play Philosophers Stone/Chamber of Secrets Dumbledore he would not have pulled it off well.
I think Dumbledore only gets angry because he’s in situations where he doesn’t know or isn’t sure, just like how Harry’s name was in the goblet, or (spoilers) Dumbledore not knowing it was Crouch jr as Madeye.
We can all agree It ain’t Michael Gambon’s fault It’s Mike Newells and David Yates Here’s some proof. Haven’t u noticed that Dumbledore in POA wasn’t that out of character despite the fact it was Gambon playing? Yeah. It’s definitely Newell and Yates that should get the blame.
He needed to have sit down and listened to how YOUR CANADIAN, Anne Murray sang this song. Whether Canadians like it or not, Anne Murray wore the Maple Leaf and brought Canada to the United States.
Unpopular opinion: I love both dumbledores in their respective films. Though he may be portrayed differently in movies than books, I see both series differently
I don’t have a problem with Michael Gambon playing Dumbledore, but I feel like they should have kept him like he was in the prisoner of Azkaban. In the books they describe Dumbledore as calm but power radiates from him, and when interrogating Barry Crouch Jr, he doesn’t shout or anything, and is actually calm but they describe him as radiating fury (or something like that)
