I dunno was about 13 Yr ago or more I was in Finland and they was a great arora borealis it did light up the sky a big amount and could make out the reflection of the sky on the ice faintly. Maybe it was a rare occasion I dunno ,but it looked great. Not as vibrant as you see on photos but still pretty vibrant.
How can you expect him to remember every song that he has performed in his concerts. Even an elephant couldn’t. Does it matter anyway, it’s a good song, well performed.❤❤❤❤❤❤
I just watched the Northern lights in my home state of Maine. Stayed up all night watching them during the solar storm last seek. I had tears streaming down my face, i couldn't believe what I was looking at. It was pulsing and rippling across the sky. There were huge pickets in a ring area, but the boundaries were where the really incredible stuff was happening. I can't find any videos anywhere that compare to what I saw with my own eyes. It was rapidly popping in and out of existence like a strobe light, but im the pattern of ripples on a pond of if you rubbed your eyes really hard. The bright parts were beautiful, but the very faded parts that were going nuts were glorious.
I'm from Belfast. I was at this gig, my 7th. I've never heard of your channel, or the roll call. But I heard something earlier about the roll call so I googled it and saw this video. Was surprised to see it was a recent video from Belfast, and the show I was at. I'm incredibly impressed at the quality of this video. The editing, the amount of thorough content, it was superb. I was glued to it for the whole 22 minutes. So well made and informative. Also can't believe for 5 days, hundreds of Springsteen fans were gathering a mile from my house and I had no idea lol. Truly excellent work. I've subscribed and I'm going to check out your other stuff.
Thanks a lot mate! I did edit it in the night and restaurant of Titanic museum and found fast WiFi at university to upload it the same day 😇 I try to do my best and there are more shows coming up’ may be you can come to the mainland 😇
Belfast was brilliant. The craic in the pit was excellent before and during the gig😂. Met a number of people in this video and what they voluntarily do to organise it is amazing
Who are these people taking charge of roll calls days before the concert ? We arrived at the venue at 3.45 , joined the queue , were given a wristband and walked easily into the Pit ! We could see we were in front of people with numbers on their hands. Absolutely ridiculous. Have loved seeing Bruce normally in the Pit since 1985 and have never seen anything as ridiculous as queueing for a stupid roll call 6 days before a concert.
Just the effort you take to stand on the rail / barrier or not. Two or three rows to the front is three or four days in roll call and don’t forget that it’s also a social thing, that’s probably the nice thing of the roll call, you can even go alone and meet so many nice people
Roll Call is an absolute joke. 90% of local fans cant just take a week of work to go to roll calls. Absolutely shocking and shouldnt be allowed. Should be first come on the day and if die hard fans want to camp outside days before hand then do that. Shocking
I COUGHT the Nothern Lights 2 DAYS A GO unfortunately on my surveillance camera which made the images black and white. I up loaded in my channel in case you wanna see them. them B & W.
Great to see you're doing your videos again! Thank you!! They do make us feel like we were there, it's really awesome to be able to follow the tour even though we can't be there for every concert!! Personnally I can afford only one concert this year (not just money, but time also lacking!), in Marseille, hope to see you there too, I will definetely be in the front of the roll call, getting there a few days early 🤩
I have come from the year 2024 and I implore you to Time travel to the corner of Northwest IL and East IA among the dark cornfields along the Mississippi River in May. Omg this is nuts lol 😎
theres a fifth stage, right before the whole sky lit up, about half the sky lit up with a white light, looked very similar to the first stage but instead of lines, it was one huge line then boom lights everywhere
I saw them last night, 10/5/24 from central England, apparently they were visible all over the UK. They were spectacular! That's what brought me here..all the best bro 🤙
Do you already know how it will be arranged roll call for Prague's show? I ll be there and since I live 10min away from place where Bruce will play, I m thinking to arrange it but I m not sure about procedure. If someone would like to help me I would be really appreciate because this concert means so much to me, thanks😊
Just go there today and start the roll call. Make a sign with roll call started for Bruce Springsteen, and three times during the day. Put it at the entrance of the venue and share it on Facebook. There is a group who has experience with it and they will help you later on. The first will come three days ahead of the show. People who want to join the queue can make a picture of themselves with the sign and you will meet them at the times of the roll call. Then you will be upfront in the middel. This is your chance!
They say if you don’t go to a roll call you have to go to the back of the queue… was there Wednesday night for the roll call and then on Thursday morning we had two new people in front of us 😂 pays off to have your mates running it
I wanted to dive deeper in this but everyone who is doing the roll call is in favor of it. There are alternative options like a lottery or just the first who comes (on the day) goes in. I got some opinions but no one really wanted to say something taped. Personally I think a lottery is a good thing (people collect during the day a number and in the end 1 number will be picked out (for example 400) and that person goes in as first). Disadvantage of that is that you can't control it yourself (you can have always bad luck) and some roll callers said there was cheating with it in the past. Now you can come really early (5 days ahead) and you are certain of the best spot on the barrier. Other people said Bruce might be comfortable with the roll call because he does have a lot of familiar faces around him and it is more safe. The roll call also ensures to have a fit audience and no devastated people because of the long waiting in the sun or rain.
@@JanJelle I’m not being overly critical of the roll call, I think it’s the best option when done right, I did it before in 2013 when Bruce was last in Belfast too. However three roll calls a day, four days ahead of the gig was seriously OTT. Maybe this is typical/necessary in other parts of the world and therefore hard to judge gig to gig. But it comes across as a bit excluding of those who can’t afford to take the best part of a week off work and then even more pointless when you occasionally hear of people able to skip a roll call and still keep their place. Would be interested in hearing the opinion of those who didn’t want to be recorded.
@@JonnyMaxxx Most people in the roll call are positive of course. But I did speak also to people who changed their mind in life and were now in favor of a lottery. I do have the same argument like you. But roll callers say that you can choose for it and collect money and do it once. And then you are 100% sure you are at front. There is roughly a group of may be 100 people who attend at least 5-15 shows. And the skipping is a thing, because if you are in the first 50 people, you all know each other so, if someone gets stuck in traffic, I think they probably fix it but if you are anonymous number 299 there's no mercy ;-) We say in Dutch: us knows us. That's the beautiful part of it as well but it happens everywhere. Because I was recording / interviewing, my name was checked also while I wasn't one time in the row (but I was present). But if someone doesn't know that, it can be explained differently again.
@@JanJelle yeah fair enough. It’s not perfect but better than turning up hours before doors open hoping you get a good spot as is typical for most gigs. Btw thought your vlog was great 👌🏻
I just got to see them tonight at about a “stage 3” and even that had me and my mum oohing and awing. It took a while to find the right spot but we watched for hours while the sky danced and then every now and again it was just a faint green or reddish like a picture. It was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen
As I wrote somewhere else, the opinions are different and I like to talk with fans and the most intimate way is during the roll call waiting. Then I am able to pull out the most beautiful things out of the people. Roll call is acceptable but the only thing that should be better is the communication about it. I once heard about two groups who started separately a queue and too many people who don't know how it is working because you have to search on Facebook and someone is posting it at there own Facebook page. Search for roll call + place where you are going. Let's focus on the joy Bruce is giving us instead of too much arguments
Great stuff. Thanks for making this video. Found it interesting to learn about the truck (thought it came from ther other island) and to hear from the people I was standing right next to. Didn’t know they got the harmonica (didn’t get Jungleland though). I was the guy with the crayons. You were all fantastic, at roll calls, in the queue and the pit. Springsteen fans are the best.
