This is a past season jacket now, care labels are normally sewn into the jacket and you should be able to check that. If that isn't possible normally you can't go to far wrong with the following: Machine washable at 30 degrees Do not steam Do not bleach Iron on low heat Do not dry clean Line dry But if you're not certain, a cold water hand wash is a good start.

Worth noting that ACR in their video says press the activation button for 2 seconds to turn it on, and 3 seconds to turn it off. Also, just a note that I had my PLB in my lifejacket pocket for kitesurfing as well as just on my boat (to be taken with my ditch bag if the boat sinks) for a year, and it somehow corroded and failed, which is disappointing. ACR did replace it and now I keep the PLB separate from the lifejacket unless I am actually using the latter, which is not so good but at least the unit has not failed in the second year of having it.
Hello, Garmin don't mention any waterproof rating for the bag, so we would say water resistant, but not waterproof... The striker units are IP rated so have a level of waterproofness of their own, so its only the battery that would be a worry. Hope this helps
Hi, can you fit trudesign composit seacock onto a bronze through hull? Or is it not recommended? My seacocks need changing but the through hulls are in good contidion
Yeah you can mix bronze skin fittings with TruDesign Seacocks. There won't be any negative reaction. The main issue you for you to contend with is ensuring the threads are the same and they connect well. You can also use PTFE tape or a thread sealant to ensure a watertight connection. No the hood cannot be removed, it can be rolled up and stored within the collar, so kept out of the way and if you're good with your folding it up it doesn't feel too bulky.

There’s a huge advantage to this, looking for this for the next boat. Biggest thing so far was that the Chiba build anemometers are not designed for yachts and did not have a waterproof screen solution whilst these hook up to the normal equipment We all know birds ruin the top mast units and the standard mast transducers often fail
In general, the TI units are faster in response to inputs. The big ticket item though is maps. If you install a mapping card such as Navionics or the free C-Map Genesis which has a lot of map detail, then moving around the map with the cursor or when running down the lake can lag significantly on the Hook units, but is seamless with the TI units.
This is the best trolling motor I have ever owned. Very powerful and the salt water does not have any affect on it. The reverse is just as powerful. This motor performs just as well as the high dollar motors.
