The key here is that Tasha doesn't see "Ghost" for who he is. He's just a man and he knows it, he's James, or more precise, he's just Jamie , that's why Jamie loves Angela. She sees who he is. Ghost is a character created by James to survive against the odds, but deep down, he's always just Jamie.

People have a really bad viewpoint of Tashas charaacter. People forget that Tasha had to already give her dreams just for ghost to reach the level he was at. She was going to be a great accountant with no kids. It was also implied that she was a minor initially with ghost aand intentionally got her pregnant to sell the clean father image. Angela didnt give up her dreams for ghost which is why they didnt last nor was ever going too. So yes, james needed to give his dreams up. Sacrifice for sacrifice. He told her the game was all she had and needed and just expects her to switch it and go LEGIT after the fact.
Who the fuck cares, he goes legit, he still got money and she can always go back to accountant because he has the means to do so. Yall just love to simp over this awful ass wife.
This was before ghost even ran into Angie , ghost mentioned this shit to Tasha twice before he saw angie again . Could say she cheated with shawn first by the shit she did out of jealousy but for somebody who would argue she didn’t fuck him yet that was still cheating . Made it easier for me to see it like she dam near pushed him away . I don’t hate Tasha but that bullshit they always tryna throw on ghost name was wild because they were all selfish , ghost selfishness just benefited all of them most times they couldn’t see . An no excuse for this the life he brought her in and made her accustomed to. Tasha is from the hood with a hood rat ass bestfriend and she was suppose to have a “bright future “ she was down with everything until it didn’t serve her . Only situation I ever seen mfs wanna sympathize for a women that obviously wasn’t morally good all around the board her self . Ghost dealt with the 3 T’s tommy ,Tasha and tyriq and they all was selfish calling him that though , Tommy was basically hurt that his bestfriend who seemed to had taken all of them to another level and guided them right the whole time didn’t want to murder and sell drugs with him no more , even down to ghost landing in politics and them Bein mad but people forget it was Tasha that put him on that path that she end up not liking because she got him back tied up with stern who had a new vendetta and tate comes along that leads ghost into doin that shit . Tasha was a large player in all the bullshit they dealt with . Ghost was a murderous manipulative guy often as most of them in power but can’t take away that he clearly had a heart . He didn’t like that shit with innocent people getting killed like them cops with Kanan , literally killed his whole network to get our , didn’t want to kill kanan back then before he even set him up when killing kanan was Tasha first idea who tyriq just loved so dearly , tyriq pick and chose what he wanted to hold mfs accountable for but think he was really lied to so much that kanan deciding to be honest with him was enough for him to accept the stuff he did to like killing Shawn . Yea he mentioned it before he set him up but tyriq stayed actin like a bitch behind kanan . Ghost cried about killing rolla ,he went to see the pastor trying to get right , he was on a mission to be the man Angie wanted him to be . Saved tommy when they wasn’t cool . Letting Maria go . The man wanted to be good bottom line around people who blamed him when shit got to far that he been wanted to stop
Tasha was was extremely selfish, she loved the hype that came with the drug game, she loved ghost and not James the man. She never once thought about how the drug business could eventually effect their kids, the more enemies they made, the higher chances of something happening to them and not to mention if their kids lose their father in prison or coffin. She was the furthest thing from an intelligent person in my opinion.
Truth, if you ever think you don't have to fight for your peace, just keep living. When you tell folks your truth, with good intentions snd without malice yes it can be painful for you and them, BUT for those who belong in your life they will stay, those who do not, will leave. Guess what? The Son/sun will still shine on us all.
Not everyone. Everyone grows up differently. Mental health is the biggest problem on top of it. So, even though you have a clear message. The understanding would be lost. God can't fix everyone. It's a sad state of affairs. Ppl need to be honest with themselves first, and then the repair can begin.
Angela was good for Jamie! She lost her career and life for him! She died and he moved on with Ramona! Angelas dad hated Jamie! I remember they had dinner with her sister Paz and Jamie! Paz had brought up the time Angelas father chased Jamie around the corner to stay away from his daughter! You would think all that money Tasha was having in that lifestyle she would've better herself too! Go back to school! Yeah, Tasha had issues!!😁😁😁😁😁👀👀👀👀🙈🙈🙈
It’s the buzzard mentality….if you start trying to heal, you stop being ripe for the pickings. Most women like her want to hang around a decaying life. So they can feast on the orcas. They called that stability. She knows that lifestyle was dangerous and not meant to be for life. But a stepping stone out, and to better things. She want slowly eat at him, until judgement day where she can have her full meal. Why not support? Well insecurity….what if he doesn’t love her anymore when he’s legit? What if she doesn’t fit in? What purpose do she serve if it’s not a life of crime? They act as an anchor to keep you just floating above water. In this loop until it ends, or they end it. Look at all of what she done, when he left her, and started legitimizing himself. She turned their son against him, by taking his side when she should’ve stood united with him. But they can’t separate their romantic relationships from their guardianship. They rather build the house down with him in it. She didn’t stop until she drove that boy to do what he did, and turn to life of crime completely. Peep this…… The problem with most mothers/single mothers, is that they put theirs sons in the shoes of their boyfriends/husbands. A cycle of decaying orcas for her to continue to feed on. Look at him now, scrabbling trying to take care of an already burnt destroyed home. While she sit back and add more on more problems. Now he’s in his father position, except with less money, and power.
I dead ass think CK personal issues with her own father played a role in how the narrative of power shifted into “ghost is the root of all problems” 💀 season 6 literally became everyone vs. ghost when damn near everyone on the cast except yasmine been crooked as hell but the writers made it seem like ghost was the ONLY villain on the show 😂 like how is Tommy not held accountable for all his wickedness but ghost the only one who “deserved” it because he left Tasha and wanted to leave the game altogether ?🤦🏿♂️ Tommy dead choked out holly and killed his unborn child but fans love that crazy shit because who doesn’t love a crazy white boy ? 🥴 the bias was so clear especially in those final episodes with the different perspectives 🥴 til’ this day the message the final season sends is so cringe like son please get those daddy issues resolved and tell a story with some actual meaning and weight behind it. Tariq goes from telling ghost I’ll kill you yolking up Tasha and even tells him you ain’t my father? I’m sorry how many times did ghost have to try and save Tariq altogether in the series lmao and then he expects ghost to take the fall for killing ray ray when that was ALL Tariq’s doing…even setting up a fake kidnapping 😂 😂 that plot was so forced even Omari knew it…we all expected ghost to die, just not like that and don’t get me started on the whole father/son trend on power 😭
