Hi I was just wondering what is your favorite luxurians hybrid? You have a red crystalinum x lux and another one, which one has the most interesting colours? Thank you 🥰
@@marevercammen200 that is an incredibly hard question 😂 The RC x Lux has a more iridescent fade to dark green and the Carla x Lux has more of a red to black to dark green. I guess it depends on your preference - I love both haha
Just found your channel after searching for Hoya tours. What a great collection of videos - so informative and such a treat to see some I have never heard of before! Cant wait to see updates on them - maybe even some blooms! 😊
New info suggests that they may continue to throw out blooms when you cut them, that we should leave them for the plant to go through this hormonal change, this in fact happened with my Sinuata, I cut off 3 blooms that grew one after the next, that was last year, I still haven’t got a new leaf from that plant… 🤷♀️ I’m gonna experiment
Thanks for talking to me while I water plants and obsessively check every single leaf. 🤗 I love seeing all of your beautiful plants, and I also appreciate your honesty when things aren’t working.
I'm in a position where I'm planning on purging my current plant collection to the small few I genuinely love and plan on breeding together to get new hybrids. I've realized with the amount of money I have spent so far on my anthuriums, I could have easily purchased my ultimate want right now, a variegated anthurium but I don't regret my past purchases either because they definitely taught me a few things and was I surprised by how some of the seedlings have turned out!
@@antheorium that’s the fun with the hobby 🥰 We collect plants and learn their needs and than gain the skills to purchase a wishlist plant that we will be more confident in caring for 💜 I do the same thing and it does feel good to let go of many plants to acquire just one that you absolutely love and also freeing up time to do more of the things you love 🙌 It’s a continuous cycle of acquiring lots of plants and than downsizing 😂
Hi Natasha, Many thanks for sharing your beautiful Hoyas and your lovely Miss Jasper! I enjoyed seeing your beautiful, healthy and happy Hoyas so much. 🥰. Your New GuineaGhost Hoya is perfection! Excellent video full of information and tips. Well done, thank you! 👌🪴🥰
Why remove all the secondary roots when putting in water? You figure they’ll all rot? I had issues getting leaves to stay and size up on my Cuprea, UNTIL… I added moss to the crown (top of the soil around the main stem) now I water as soon as the moss is dry, every few days, got the biggest, and the most leaves so far!!
@@torquess454 yes they do rot 😂 I actually removed all of the old roots that you saw in the video as they rotted in water but grew nice new water roots 😍 It’s the easiest way I’ve found to transfer Alocasias to pon 😆 That sounds like a great way to set up your Cuprea! Thanks for the tip 🥰💚
Omgosh I wonder if Amazon hears the product promos (Great White) and jacks the price, it’s 30$ CAD for an ounce! Crystal star makes PON?!?! I’ve been looking for a Canadian version for years!! We can’t even hit the beach this summer in the Okanagan, it’s been an average of 35-45 degrees and smoky from the fires, My Bracifolia hasn’t been completely happy from the beginning, just uppotted into no drainage small leca and pearlite, wish her luck, I first transferred her to semi hydro in leca, she went dormant, dropped all her leaves, finally this spring she and my Tanderusa started sprouting again!
Hello Natasha from Puerto Rico!! Too bad the Anthuriums don’t do too well here. I have a few that are awesome but most of them I have not had much luck. 😢
What is the name of the one with really dark (purple) leaves on your checkerboard table? I only have two Alocasias. They are both small. I have a Stingray, she has given me two new leaves. And my favorite Alocasia, the Silver Dragon, who is growing like a weed! Seven new leaves, she had three when I purchased her.
My silver mint coins are out of the cabinet. I think the grow lights were too much for them. Maybe it was the humidity? I love how fast they grow and branch.
I’m not too sure! This is my first experience with them and I noticed that the humidity made them turn green 😂 I can’t wait until mine grow and branch 😍
