i like the pots, but watering, schedules do not usually work for a number of reasons, but one is that the time it take for substrate to dry will change based on time of year and amount of humidity in the air.
@@YellowPineappleHoyas hiiii Liza 🥰 There are definitely some factors with any watering schedule - environment, seasons, size of the plant’s root system etc. This system will give you a good approximation of when it needs to be watered though and will definitely require less repots 🙌 I’m excited to see how accurate their watering schedule is while I’m testing the product 💗 I’ll be posting an update video ✨
I like those pots! They are so much more attractive than some I’ve seen and I am not comfortable with my plants sitting in water. Every time I’ve tried that the roots rot. I think I’ll buy a few and try it with some of my alocasia.
Hi Natasha, I really enjoy your videos and your plant collection is awesome! These look very interesting, I wonder how they would be for alocasias. Don't know if I can wait for update or take the plunge, I have many other plants that I think would benefit from these and they are pretty also!
Thank you so much - I appreciate you being here 🥹 I think they would be great for Alocasias! I want to get some more just for my Alocasias actually 🤭 They are beautiful and come in so many pretty colors 🌟 Haha it’s hard to wait - I get that! 💚
I really like them so far! My plants look great after using them (they haven’t wilted or shown any signs of going downhill) and I am excited to see how the watering schedule works! I will be posting an update video once I allow my plants to go through the watering schedule 🥰
I just ordered a 5-inch pot in Moss to try. I have used Lechuza pon in self-watering pots for over 5 years and I am always on the look out for a cheaper pot.
@@PlantedinPlatinum Many houseplant varieties like philodendron, alocasia and monstera need consistent moisture on the roots. There's also water and soil roots. Water roots on any plant should never be dry, it causes immediate rot.
@@neonice with the natural root pruning and constant oxygen available to the root system of the plant - I’m very excited to see how this works! I’ll be doing an update video with my thoughts on the pots after I’ve used them 💜 Thank you for watching 🥰
