My goal with the honest hotel review series is to show you not the "made up" perfect / sponsored version of the hotel but how it would look like in reality once you settle in.
I strive to do reviews of hotels/resorts or experiences only if they are worth reviewing… as in only if they are worth my time to review them since video editing takes a long time 🥲 Only the hotels that I’m inspired by & are worth my time will be on this channel which tend to be mostly 5-star hotels ☺️
I also do drone films of all the places that I visit 😌✌🏻

Hi. Just saw this video. I am thinking of staying there for a while. Could you tell me if the rooms were smokey? Was the gym smoky? I am referring to cigarette smoke. Thanx in advance! Yuan.
You would have to ask the hotel directly for that. But I doubt they arrange other time slots because I made sure to book an early morning flight to arrive in time for the airport pick up and the hotel advised us to do that as well.
The only other place I’ve been to in Sabah is Sipadan Kapalai Dive Resort which is on the other side of Sabah. Don’t think it’s an island though! I think considering its location you should compare it with Sutera Harbour Resort and Nexus Karambunai, these three are the biggest resorts in Sabah in my opinion.

Great review! Very coprehensive..and helpful for myself as i am planning to visit Malaka in January. Being Hilton Diamond it would be a natural choice for me. However, I would not come for a meeting but for the history of the place and wonder whether it would not be better to tke a hotel downtowon. What was your experience? Did you always use a Grab? Hi! I’m glad you found my review helpful :) I am actually based in KL so I drove to Malacca from KL. But I do remember the location of the hotel being pretty central and convenient. Using Grab should be good enough to get around though!

Plan is to take a Grab from KUL airport to Malakka..should be faster than by bus. I usually report daily from my trips in my insta stories..you would be most welcome to join me there. Stayed at this exact hotel just a week ago. Everything was great but the service at their restaurant was very slow.Waited almost an hour for our food even though there wasn’t that many people around.I got myself a family room which was directly facing Mount Kinabalu. To say the view was magnificent,is an understatement. It was magical.Would love to return to Kundasang again.

Hotels in genting are most likely over exaggerated. It is not a luxurious tourist destination, but they think it does. I don't think it will hold for long.

Hi! I booked through their website which you can see my booking process at 0:56 :) There is phone service but there is no WiFi at the resort. And unfortunately for me, my room was at the far end of the resort so I didn’t have any phone service from my room which you can see my experience at 10:03 🥲 Only when I go closer to the main area of the resort then I can get phone service😭
