@@Kryddan92 sorry I didn’t have the chance to really to go around Japan for rc stuff, so far I think Soper Rakojin Akihibara does have adequate drift accessories and upgrades you might need. You can check out there website for items available in store before you visit. www.super-rc.co.jp/shop/tokyo
hola buenas, te hago unas preguntas simples ya que no llego a ver bien precios, un rc drift podrias darme algunos precios ejemplos de enteros y solo kits por favor, muchas gracias !
All prices will be in Japanese ¥ and taxes still included, you can remove 8.5% if you are a foreigner visiting japan, Yokomo MD2.0 ¥101,200, MD1.0 ¥70,800, SB2.0 ¥61,424, RD2.0 ¥17,424, RD2.0 with gyro ¥21,824. You can convert ¥ to your local currency for exact amount.
@@oliverstoys8411 muchas gracias señor ! ire en unos meses y pues por hacerme la idea .. yo vivo en españa euros moneda, es mas menos mismo que dolar... tu ves que hay buenos precios al cambio ? en kits y kits rtr
@@pandemiofpvi will go with the kit vs RTR, the electronic and esc, servo, motor and radio included in the RTR are not so good, but if you have limited budget, it the easy way to have it running, i suggest you convert the ¥ to euro and see if this yokomo kits are cheaper in Japan, i suggest you go to super raijikon, they offer 8.5 percent off if you purchase more than ¥5,000 yen and up, check your local bank exchange rate if you are getting discount if you buy there (Japan), as compare to my country (philippines), is cheaper to get the kit there (japan), another good kit to get will be the Reve D RDX and might as well get the need upgrade parts if you happen to visit Japan.

The real problem is the remote is designed to fail and has signal loss randomly that can not be fixed. Radiolink is a con and a joke. Over a 25% failure rate on rc8x with no offer to compensate or fix the issue. Avoid this junk of a radio and the junk of a company that is radiolink
@oliverstoys8411 no worries bud just wanting to spread awareness of the issues after working with radiodink for some time and discovering the issues and then being muted by the group on fb for trying to make others aware as many others have been
This is an old video and anyone watching should know these problems have been addressed in firmware updates. If you have this radio, you can easily download the updates. Also, no offense to Oliver but most of these issues can be attributed to user error or inexperience with a computer radio of this design. Overall, great radio for the price. I've heard of others complaining about this radio (range and battery life being the biggest ones) but mine has run virtually problem free. It can be a steep learning curve for sure (wouldn't recommend it to beginners) but there are many videos out on this radio including several from Radiolink. And, while their customer service can be crap at times, they've made a much better effort to be responsive to customer questions or complaints (make sure to subscribe to Radiolink's RU-vid page!). Considering the hundreds of dollars I saved over a radio like the Sanwa M17 or Futaba 10 PX/PXR (I'm a bit of a Futaba fan boy), I'm pretty happy with my RC8X. I would caution beginners but once you master this radio, you'll love it!
@@jerryvolpini7987 you are right this is definitely a old video, after several new firmware updates this radio did improve minor issue but never up par with mid level radio from sanwa, futaba, and Flysky. RC8x is a ok radio with several setbacks for me, customer service of radiolink is awesome, but the issue is the older internal transmitter/receiver protocol , to be honest barely anyone talking about it, I am happy you like your radio, good for you 👍🏻. Rc community taking about the RadioMaster MT12 less of the blink but more of speed, performances and most important value, I don’t have this radio so I can’t really say much about it.
@@tittentei7331 Yokomo have asphalt tires model Z9-DRAA, that will definitely worn out the tire quickly because of the uneven surface and rough texture of the track, i hope you can find p-tiles or polish concrete area you practice.
@@ukemix8848 this is the 3rd released from this company with less accessories, currently still available at any official tamashii nation store that is why price is still reasonable ¥ 24,000 including Japan tax, the first and 2019 version are sold out, 3rd party seller have the freedom to over price that items because of this limited availability, there another 4th version 50th anniversary 2024 (metallic purple) series should be available now retail ¥44,000 including Japan tax.
Sanwa is always world champion in Response. By digital servos you can set the modulation in the bind menu from normal to shr (sanwa high resonse), than it’s faster. And when you have a sanwa ssr able servo, you can set it on ssr (sanwa super Response. That ist the fastest mode you can get. An use digital brushless servos to test it on 7,4V or 8,4V that it’s Zero Delay. There un can see it best. It’s best fun to have servo and response super fast. 100 times better when everything is fast Like your fingers. 1000 times more fun then driving with gyro recivers. All my offroaders are sanwa fhss4 with brushless servo on 7,5V and it’s super fun. Some are sanwa srg servos. This is the old ssr series. The new are in the pgs line with ssr. Long time to change everything but buying used and have time helps. It’s awesome together with castle x series controllers and motors. Believe me it’s pure smiling. Good video, thanks 😊👋🏻
zero explanations, no circuit whatsoever so what ? you just plug them in the ESC ? do you build your own connectors ? worst tutorial ever, yes leds require resistors, so what ?
I am sorry you are not contended with my video. Obviously you did not watch the entire video, every few second i included lettered text and image (self explanatory) on the side of this video to what led values and resistors used and probably you did not check the description below also the links of every component used.
Well, mine will also be equipped with extra lights for commander's hatch and driver as well, easy to find on net, but for now it is waiting for its turn to enter my workshop... Great video really showing all Merkava basics
Thanks i really appreciate your comment 😄, unfortunately both of my children don’t have any interest in RC, i hope in the future they can inherit my collection and don’t end up in any thrift store (goodwill) or be throw away, that will be very sad for me.
The store at around the 8 minute mark had a tax-free sign as you entered. I will be going there in a months time for work so taking minimal clothes as it's summer and filling the suitcase 😊
Do you hear the bb mechanical loading and firing sound? Or just tank chassis recoil and sound effects? If yes, there a setting on the transmitter to enable the bb functions. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Vu9Ri0msu9I.htmlsi=7FuAlms4eZN4HdMd
Thanks, according to Yeah racing product description it is compatible with Futaba transmitter. I don’t have futaba 4pv, included 3 adaptors one for futaba, I didn’t have chance to test the fitting very sorry.
Spectacular video. I built a T90A extreme tank. My plan for my Macava was almost exactly what you’ve done. did you do your dark shading before or after you did your your lines? Very nice tank.
Thanks, i was really experimenting with my tank, add enamel black panel line first then lighter dark brown (panel line), mix water water base paint to match IDF color slightly darker and applying (very tin layer) slight airbrush over it. On the metal parts i added flat clear coat (hardware rattle spray can) to protect to paint from scratches, after that you can still add more panel line if you want to get more detail on that section.
More interested in model planes.. in particular, looking for the rubber powered stick free flight models like the one that shows up in the Totoro movie.
The price of the professional version i got is price around $350 usd dollar, seller depends on the country you are from, good reference to check out are toucan hobby, motion rc and aliexpress.
Tires, depends on the surface, most of the drift tires are solid hard plastic with different traction levels, for example yokomo drc tires design for tiles, ds racing lf3 are design also for tiles or carpet, most often i buy from RCmart or asiatees if you live near asia, for US market super G or Amain hobbies, most common brands are yokomo, mst, ds racing and reve d.
I suggest you have picture of items you need, it would be faster, they do speak basic English, super-rc.co.jp/rc/, try to google translate the web page, so you have ideas on prices and stock availability before you visit the store.
It could be the reviver or transmitter I just got mine and a heap of receivers for my rc cars I rc drag race also and many are using them no issues doing well Perhaps because the receiver and your transmitter are to close as the receiver you are using is for a very long range Tuning is through the transmitter rc is off at the time Must be a setting on your transmitter that is not right and if you have updated from 2.0 they have major issues and manufacturers need to fix that asap
Thanks for the info, you are correct the receiver that is included design for longer range or large scale rc, I usually have 1/10 scale touring, drift, radiolink need to come out with a smaller receiver good for indoor and smaller scale rc, they have for now the r8fg v 2.1 and micro size receiver with a faster latency, the version 1.0 like r4fg or older models are for 1/10 scale but slower latency, most of my group leave the radio on using the rc set up bench require your radio to be on to correct our steering alignments, cambers, toe and esc boost, timing, curves and calibrations (most offen Drift and touring), and (indoor race) participants are close together using the indoor pit table, and official video radiolink rc8x already informed that signal block does happen with this model. And thank you for letting me know they have new 1.2.5 firmware update available.
Bought some stuff recently at Super Rajikon, the marked prices are Tax inclusive but they can do tax free if you have your passport with you when buying
@@oliverstoys8411 I went about a year ago and Super Rajikon do a weird thing at the till, rather than deduct tax and you pay x. You pay the full amount, then they issue a refund on the tax. As above just need your passport.
First of all you don't know how to set up the car ! The springs are fine you should have set up tools (like the ones from hudy) and check the ride height the down stop, camber and toe out for the front wheels ! Then you mount the body and test it ! ! Also the components motor/esc/servo you used are total garbage and you wont have a good experience firstly because of them and secondly because of the wrong setup ! The car is fine you dont know what to do with it ! Also the parking lot floor is nowhere near good enough as a proper racing surface of a track ! This is not a review ! If you need help let me know !
Thanks for your feedback back, the point of the build is cheapest possible electronics, my goal is just to get to the rc touring experience, with minimal budget (left over parts from other projects), $140 usd car need a cheap setup, instead of spending for a tamiya TT02 kit, with this price of chassis i want to experience the type of feel of the car, I can’t do serious racing because i no good under pressure, and average cost for setup station would cost more than the chassis. Anyway Thanks for your input.
For your easier going into the hobby there is no cheap ! Money rules !If you dont have money for the best parts you wont have a good expirience ! Trust me now and you wont regre it ! Tamiya is a million percent worst than this one ! It dosent matter what it cost i am telling you again ! If you want actual budget tools, there are some choices other than hudy with their compromises ! I can help you make a video but this one is all wrong ! Some people or more people will see it and this differently for this car ! I have raced it and my lap times were really close to my xray t4 21 with the same electronics ! See the common ground between the 2?ELECTRONICS !
…sooo frustrating…you did not once…for a millisecond…turned the damn thing…did not once…turned it to show of the wheel…and if the caliper rotated or not…not once…just irritating gestures and waving around…not once…
I don’t want to sound like a broken record, found another issue with my RC8x, don’t leave your battery inside, it will drain it to zero, it happen several times, this February 2024 i test the enveloop battery voltage and surprisingly it reads 0 volt in 2 weeks or even less, even the unit turn OFF, it consume 0.05a, it’s estimated consumes roughly 50 milliampere per hour, if you are using lipo battery it will damage the battery(if you plan not to use it for a long time). Maybe future firmware update will solved this or not. And the new receiver R8FG version 2.1 channel one not working (nothing), very weird so i use 3rd channel for steering, what such luck 😬.
I am glad you a contented with your radio, everyone have different opinions about this radio, but i am not the only person who very disappointed with this radio, many prominent youtube content creator stop using it after they review it (sponsored), because of weird issues and underwhelming performance compare to other with the same price range, radiolink does perform well in other type of vehicle (like crawler, slow rc and basher) but not what i commonly use. In the end of the day what makes you happy thats all it matters.
For me Asiatees are pretty reliable, the only issues i have with them are some product imperfections (mst unbalance and deformed wheels) and (kyosho kits) missing parts, which usually not asiatees fault, requesting replacement or missing parts can be full filled as long as you complain not longer than a month or earlier at best, this annoying if you are located far away from asia because of the longer wait time.
@oliverstoys8411 okay ill definitely keep that in mind because i just got a drift car and was thinking of getting some wheels and tires from them since there pricing is pretty good. Thank you for the quick reply to specially being on a older video.
Hello, i don’t know where to get those, is it for heng long merkava parts? They don’t have much spare parts for that particular model, www.toucanhobby.com/collections/henglong-rc-tank-accessories,maybe best if you can message them directly, at least you can send photos of the parts you need.
