The politics do not age well which kind of ruins the movie. I mean the whole nazi stuff is a bit over the top considering South Africa fought against the Nazis. In modern times, SA is a failed state and the ANC that took over is as if not more corrupt than the white party they replaced. As typical with Hollywood, they jump on the bandwagon but completely wash their hands when things go wrong. They offer no more social commentary and just move on to the next fashionable topic.
What nazis are you talking about? It was apartheid at the time and actually the movie was the fastest to be dated because within a year or two Mandela was released and apartheid was over. Also in the first movie there was a poster on the fridge that says “end apartheid”
