This feels like going somewhere and seeing rotting things all around you, (censored because its 2pm and bodies sounds horrifying) and thinking " *what could've done* *_this_* "
In the middle of a pikmin 2 playthrough, currently going through the submerged castle, lost 39 pikmin to the waterwraith JUST ON FLOOR 3, taking a break, will let you guys know how sublevels 4 and 5 go
The variations are now in stereo. There was an error with the previous ones that caused them to render in mono and I didn't catch it the first time around.
I like how Pikmin 1's theme was more "mystery," while 2 is more "adventure" kinda like how Pikmin 1 was a tense rush to make it home alive, while Pikmin 2 is like a big treasure hunt
Quiet possibility my favorite Boss theme in any Pikmin game, all the leitmotifs that give little callbacks to other parts of the Series it makes me wish it was used in the main game somehow, a theme like this being shoved into a single level of a side mode is a crime
A tip for those that only bring yellow pikmin to this fight (including myself), take out the shock therapist last, your yellow pikmin will be resistant to the electricity that the shock therapist dispenses, so if the shock therapist is the last treasure remaining, the titan dweevil won’t be able to do anything to you and your squad.

When I played Engulfed castle, It was scary enough getting chased by one of the more superintelligent beings on PNF-404. Now that I have Pikmin 1+2, Since 2 has no oatchi, I am weary of the path ahead.
Opening these up without knowing exactly which level is which is always “what levels are 8 and 9 again?” And then realizing “oh yeah it’s those levels!” Just by the music, always a good time!
