you forgot about double lens glasses. all fans make noise and active headphones will amplify this noise. you will go crazy during the day. double lens glasses and antifog spray. perfect combination
I see them more and more in regular airsoft places and i hate them so much, they all about fast, CoD kids, rate of fire. They looks like angry kids on CoD, it really resume them well. They are raging a lot, are for a big part disrespectful, i never met a speedsofter that made a airsoft game better. Stay in your Paintball type match of 5v5, dont come bored real passionates of weapons and military equipement that are here for the fun, the tactical, and the most immersive way to play. And dont get me wrong, as Paintball 5v5 competition games dont interest me, speedsoft is the same to me, i dont care if people enjoy that but they clearly know that they are bothering the airsoft community so much. I have multiple examples of airsoft associations or players that had left the game because of speedsofter ruining the events or disgusting airsoft players

I used to play when it was only spring. Green gas was new. I’m gettin back into it. We never played “one shot sends you back. We played capture the hill. Once you get lit up you’ll move. We also only wore glasses and normal clothes. Y’all dressed for combat w plate carriers 😂😂😂 clowns
As a sniper myself, i 100 percent agree with this video. I chose the hard way and spent a lot of effort getting my cheap vsr 10 to perform but i learned a lot and now i tell everyone on my field if they want a sniper to not start with one and buy a pre upgraded one, cause upgrading is a pain.
Yes i belive is enough place for all but in my opinion as a airsoft player and speedsoft player an referee i belive it is a difference between them. Airsoft i more tactical more versatile and you use a more amount of energy and you got to ise your brain more. Speedsoft is more dynamic, high speed shooting and high speed tactics. Speedsoft in my opinion is a mix betwen paintball and airsoft in my opinion. So everybody can enjoy the both sports but you can choose what sport you can play. There both fun and very fairplay. Because fairplay is all about in both sports. Enjoy everybody!
Here is a tip ive learned after a few years dont buy molle plate carriers, harnesses, or vests. Start with a fixed system. After you play with them you might want to keep it or buy molle and build based on what youve learned ive spent around $300-$400 on chest gear just to realize that micro chest harnesses have what im looking and airsoft ones are $50-$100. Start cheap and borrow from those who are willing, take your time to learn what works for you and build yourself from there. Also don't buy all black thinking you'll look cool. Buy either camos or soild colors based on your play area, black just stands out and paints you as a target i live in nevada so i buy tan/desert colors and camos.
Both playstyle is great, but when you usually mix two things it doesn't end well. And it should be separated. Airsoft to airsoft, speedsoft to speedsoft. If you want the simpler entertainment, go play airsoft. If you want to be competitive, go play speedsoft. As i said, both are great, but shouldn't mix.
For some speedsofters on my field, the cqb style is more like slow motion. You see the speedsofter quickly peek, one or two tap the enemy while retreating - the player that was hit does sometimes not even see the opponent at all. That makes everyone more cautious and slows down the gameplay without making it boring. Some even call out where they spot the speedsofter(s) on the field to redirect attention. I started the field with nsl speedsoft in mind, but it turns out in Switzerland the cqb scene is more dominant - but i would never exclude the players ;) Maybe something in the middle? Fast Close Combat looks fun - let's try this..
If you think about it, speedsoft plays similarly to paintball. The game layout is very similar, you play in a small arena and duke it out close combat style most of the time.
Being in austria, I only saw a few and they usually new to the hobby. Damn, I even outrun them with full gear. Have nothing against them, but I only have seen them hitting a wall against my squad.
I am a "regular airsofter" and we have a couple speed softers at our regular field... and I really enjoy having them around. They can really alter the pace of the game. Speedsofters enjoy pushing the enemy, which I don't typically do, so now I am more motivated to get out there with them. Our speedsofters are very respectful, helpful, and all about the team they're on. Our field is better for having them and they don't put themselves above anyone else. Plus their dye masks are pretty cool looking and comfortable.
In Southern California, speedsoft is the main form of airsoft, at least in the Los Angeles area. With fields like Project N1, Tac City, and Sc Village. Two of the fields being indoor arenas for the SpeedQB Championships. I prefer the speedsoft mindset over mil-sim, as to me it feels much sportier. How many people can I tag out before I get tagged. Focusing on running as fast as you can being as small of a target as possible is extremely fun, almost COD deathmatch like. Another great thing about it is that your not alone in "being a speedsofter" at these fields. I would often times say 70-90% of the players on any given day are "Speedsofters" so there isn't any stigma of "playing realistically' such as during mil-sim games. When everyone is running around trying to get the most tags, and everyone is playing with the same mindset, it is a much more enjoyable experience overall. I see how my playstyle could be annoying when others are trying to indulge in mil-sim like play style, but that just means more countries and regions need to have fields/days dedicated to both different styles. At Tac City every Tuesday is SpeedQB Night, offering tournament style matches as seen in the video. And at Project N1 they offer training courses (often weekly) on close quarter combat scenarios for mil-sim style playing (or even real steel scenarios). I believe if more fields and arenas would drop the stigma surrounded with "speedsoft" and dedicated certain days to the style, just like Tac City does, and Project N1 doing the opposite offering mil-sim style training, we would all be able to understand eachother better. I think theres a mutual distaste for both sides, and i wish that could be taken down. But in all honesty that is mostly up to field owners being more open to the style.
Speedsofters always cause fights at regular field days and milsims events. Most I’ve encountered are weak and run their mouths. Now some are good dudes I am friends with most. But they got to know when to turn it down and not go hard on little kids. Me I don’t care how you play against me. Just call your hits and don’t go hard on little kids because they’re now getting into the sport. And we don’t want to lose people due to assholes
Got to say cool products but my cp1 from begadi didn’t fog up once in all games, i used these fan glasses but the weight on the back of my head was not ideal maybe you could do some glasses like the cp1 they don’t fog up ever
Trying to figure out if i can upgrade to li-ion for my nebula v2 but I read online that they usually arent interchangeable. Also not seeing anything with the appropriate dimensions I have approximately 5" depth, 1" width with the stock in its farthest foward position.
It is a contradiction. Because airsoft is a honor base system for hits and speedsoft is an inherently competitive activity. It leads to alot of "he said, she said" situations and overshooting because of this. It seems much better suited for paintball markers.
I play speedsoft competitvly beacuse I love the style and the extreme playing style, it sucks how a couple trigger happy players give the rest of us a bad rap.
Speedsofters I encountered tend to not call hits and overshoot, the former becoz they rush with adrenaline boosted hence become less sensitive to pain, the later, well this is what they do. I do own and build replicas across platforms, mainly gbb and hpa, sometimes aeg, and I do have some HPAs that can spam like what they do in their Speedqb tournaments, yet most of the ppl in the so called "normal game" here don't play like this. We praise those who don't spam, don't pre-fire when peeking, and shoot only when they've confirmed hostile, this is to avoid friendly fire and overshooting your friends. In this conception of airsoft games, I do not think Speedsofters will be embraced by the majority, unless they restrict their fire-rate, ammo capacity, and most importantly call their hits.
What ruins airsoft is how people behave, regardless of what is being played. I've met more toxic milsim players than I've met toxic speedsofters, but obviously I know toxic speedosfters exist. Anyone playing airsoft, regardless of which end of the spectrum they play on, needs to have a respect for the game itself and the other players. With no rules it would be anarchy, and without others players there's nothing to shoot and no game to play
Speedsoft has its own playstyle and so does Milsim, if everyone’s ok with each others playstle it’s fun, If people wanna complain about the other playstyle it gets dumb, just respect and have fun
I bought a cheap shooters belt (with 2 double m4+ double pistol pouches, 1 utility, 1 dump pouch, 1 IFAK (medkit) pouch) it cost me £50. There is 2 things i dislike about it. 1, the dump pouch, its has no support around the rim, and likes to stay closed, ive upgraded to one that has a thicker rim, which is stiffer, but still easily foldable for storage. 2, the mag pouches. Theyre essentially 1 m4, 1 pistol mag pouches ontop of eachother, but doubles, and 2 of them, i replaced them with single m4 mag pouches that have molle on them (like the novritsch ones) and just have a couple single pistol mags
I don't get why speedsofters don't go play paintball if that's what they're trying to do with airsoft guns, making their replicas look like markers, using paintball gear, following the run and gun play style of paintball..
I haven’t tried Airsoft, but all weapon-based games work best for me as a sniper because I’m in no means skilled enough to run around with an AEG/AR without getting shot 15,000,000 times. Also, I’m capable of just materialising behind someone and silent sneaking if my shoes are memory foam soles/any other soft material.
