@jumbo6009 I'm sad to say I feel this way about many commentators of the game. When watching on a screen at home, I'd like to be able to keep the sound of the game on - the players, the umpires, and the crowds - but turn the commentators off. That's when being at the game is so much better, my binoculars, I can direct the images I see... I can watch players off the ball, players, trainers, coaches and medicos on the bench, and coaches up in the box. The crowd's lively excitement is also great, except when you have to put up with those numbnut supporters of ours who constantly whinge from the stands, yelling out pointless, ill-informed and discouraging coaching and commentary even when we're up...I really wish this supporters would stay home and free up their seats! It's easier to listen to opposition numbnut supporters! Anyway, the best commentators for me have always been Roy & HG 😂 and the occasional youngsters sitting in the stands close by, calling the game with such knowledge and enthusiasm, but without the dropkick, self-inflated ego!

@CatRabbit990 I can think of so many ahead of Underwood in the hard-to-listen-to booth. While not a favourite, I srillb respect her work on Offsiders and in the commentary. I'm not sure why she cops so much negative attention... 🤔
