This channel is a celebration of consumer goods. Here's what to expect:
- Food/drink reviews - A breakdown of what's new at grocery stores. Unlike other reviewers, our primary goal is to provide historical context for current products and assign each a "Gimmick Grade," evaluating their concept. Taste is also scored and when we cover multiple products/flavors at once, we rank them in a "Capsule Countdown." To date, we've covered nearly 2,000 items.
- 80s/90s commercials - An archive of over 800 hand-picked ads, each with its own thorough description. Presented with no watermarks or lead-in/lead-out screens, so sit back and enjoy without unpleasant distractions.
- Full-Length VHS Tapes & Features - Obscure recordings that range from employee training videos to strange product promotions to whatever else fits. These include the Crystal Pepsi employee training video and the "Milkcap Krazy" video about pogs.
Comment often and we might send a Christmas card to your house! Seriously.
Tried the new Butterfinger for the first time since the recipe change and could tell right away it wasn't the same as I remembered. The inside is different and while I agree it is smoother it doesn't compare to the original. Put the other half in the fridge overnight and when I got it out just the feel of it made me think it was already melting, double checked my hands to be sure, very odd.
Love that you have this commercial! A classic from the 90's as a kid. And my dog never knew it wasn't bacon! Bought some today in 2024( a knock off brand at DG) lol my Foxhound loves it!
My family moved to Texas from Mississippi in 1987. We didn’t have Jack in the box in Mississippi, so it was a new experience for us. The ultimate cheeseburger was brand new, and my dad flipped out for it. I swear we ate Jack in the box about 3 times a week for the first few months we lived there lol. Today’s version pales in comparison to the 80’s version. I dunno what they changed, but it’s not even close to the original.
