I understand the point of reminding people to be vigilant about small kids, but I do want to say that vizslas can be very kind and tolerant. When I was growing up, we once took our vizsla to visit some family friends who had a 10 yo kid with severe autism who wasn’t the best with dog boundaries. We warned him several times to be careful with the dog, but we really didn’t need to. She tolerated him messing with her ears, her face, her eyes so well. She actually went out of her way to spend time with him despite everything. They truly can be very sweet dogs
I got a maltese and my husband hated her. She is currently 5 weeks pregnant, today he built a whelping box with a clear see through door so she could still see us. He loves his ‘little girl’ to bits now. The box has soft vinyl flooring and sides. It’s gorgeous. My husband says he’s never met a dog that gives so much love. ❤️. He also wants to keep a puppy.
Deplorable, barbaric and insanely cruel. This is not a "sport". But one cannot blame the dogs. Pit Bulls are by nature incredibly sweet, playful, intelligent, loyal and loving family pets if reared as such. Look to the brutal, heartless breeders & handlers. Culling, outlawing and euthanizing the entire breed is equally inhumane. Fortunately in the US the ASPCA does everything possible to rehab these traumatized animals.
American Staff or American pit...same fruit from the same tree...just different names when used for show. 2023 and nothing has changed except now these clowns really think American Staffs and American pitbulls are different dogs. Look the same come from some of the same ancestors, but one is for sport and one for show and family. Same dog but one is illegal to ship and the other is not
Why would you buy a dog for fighting with broke teeth? That guy is just selling digs if you want a fighting dog he will say he got one if you say you want a dog that can fly he will sell you one and tell you it should be flying in two months
Steve is a fucking idiot with hes fancy sporting clothes and he dont know what hes talking ex military shame on you and this reporter bitch fake fuckers
Love my Sheltie. He's not a big barker but does like to herd us. He's a velcro dog--always at my side. So smart and devoted, too. They're beautiful, loving dogs. Perfect in my book.
Had a shetland Sheepdog I can say it is a fact they herd everything. He hated my sister and me on a swing and herded the swing so much that he created a small track around the swing. Also, anytime someone entered the house, he started walking in circles around them and then slept at the foot of every stair and at every doorway we had to be sure he knew if we left the room and went into a panic if we left without him noticing. He was such a great dog.
The dangerous dogs act '91 is not fit for purpose. A typical knee jerk reaction to a growing problem that's done nothing to stop dog attacks. Due to an accident (not related to dogs) I've been in hospital lots of times for operations. The last time I was in for a operation I heard another patient asking one of the nurses how the person on the ward for a dog bite was doing after their operation. The nurse answered "Which one? We have 7 people in for operations because of dog bites"
I've never experienced a dog that was as easily trainable as my Vizlsa - nor as intelligent. He is incredibly observant and seems to anticipate my every move. You will form a very strong, close bond with your Vizlsa.
