What happened to Jai. In the stream he won first round but at 3:21 he listed as having lost first round and now facing The King. Was there a late judge call?
Time got called after Jai took his first click which was install spin on tranq, then he played two biotics and then revealed he had no holo man so there was no way for him to fast advance there and conceded.

I really appreciate the youtube live stream for worlds, even thou I'm not watching live. In part because it's available immediately and in part cause Twitch buffers really poorly for me in general (on top of the long term storage issues it has).

This is such an amazing cast, and so helpful for a new player like me to get a sense for what high-caliber play looks like! In the future, for whoever is piloting the stream, is it possible to hover over the relevant cards more often? New cards as they are played, important cards as they are used? The casters will often gasp at cards being played, but without the hover I often don't know what the cards are or do. =( Would help new players see the cards the casters are discussing, and better understand what's happening on screen. As entertaining as Netrunner is to play and watch, the finals exemplified my biggest problem with the meta (though I'm a new player scrub that loves Criminal, so take with a grain of salt). HB ice is awful to face check so it's too risky to force rezzes and reg Anarch sets up super fast and can break basically anything except the most expensive ice once set up so they just focus on milling through their own deck. This leads to super stale games where players just play their own deck and ignore the opponent until one player actually feels ready or a player forces the issue with a risk.

It's difficult to read the cards when the video is 1080p. Even if you still continue to stream 1080p, you could export a higher resolution for the video so viewers can read the cards better.
Wow, slow down there! No need to race through at 100mph when there is so much information being dumped. Also, using the print at home deck, there are no red/blue backs to the cards and no 'Stop Here' card either so I'm already lost! I'd love to get into this game, but it's just so poorly explained. This is pretty weak for an official tutorial video.

I'm late to the party here, but I love Netrunner. This is not a healthy endorsement of the game in my opinion. If the runner took 5 seconds longer each turn for a few turns, he would have won. The 'timed out' mechanic needs a ton of work. Encourage people to actually SCORE points. Cable should have won. If pondering decisions from the corp side to throw off the runner is rewarded, runners need to start taking their time pondering decisions to throw off the corp (and ultimately the clock).
Oooo! These are fun watches! Just a quick question, you think someone could do a roleplay duel? Act out their roles i mean? Would he amazung to try i think! I did something similar when teaching a new player, and they really got into their role as a Weyland Consortium Exec.
I love the game but am having issues teaching the game. This does help a lot. Hopefully I can convince my friends to start playing this game, it is amazing.

Hope someone who knows reads this. I live in the UK and want to get into this game, but cant preorder the remastered System Gateway or Update 2021 sets. The site literally ships everywhere but the UK for some reason. No idea why. I checked the seller theu recommend the Null Signal site and it says they are out of stock. I contacted them today - 17 July 2023 and am waiting for a response. If anyone can give any advice on how I can get a pack of official remastered starter cards in the UK, I would appreciate all the info I can get. Thank you in advance.

Had never heard of netrunner and a chap called Joe gave me and my friend a great tutorial game at the UK games expo, we loved it and bought system gateway deck on the spot. What a fantastic thing that the community are keeping this alive. Great, concise and clear tutorial video here. Thank you!
