As entertaining as Netrunner is to play and watch, the finals exemplified my biggest problem with the meta (though I'm a new player scrub that loves Criminal, so take with a grain of salt). HB ice is awful to face check so it's too risky to force rezzes and reg Anarch sets up super fast and can break basically anything except the most expensive ice once set up so they just focus on milling through their own deck. This leads to super stale games where players just play their own deck and ignore the opponent until one player actually feels ready or a player forces the issue with a risk.
