Thank you! Can someone at L.A.B. or anyone familiar please comment on the head weight recommendation for a broom (light/standard/heavy)? My greens are on the faster side. Thanks!
I was a terrible putter until I bought a Bettinardi Big Ben on eBay. Immediately, my putting improved dramatically. I swore I'd never use another. Recently, I stumbled across a MEZZ 1 and it is on another level. The price wouldn't allow me to pull the trigger on the purchase. Fortunately, I found a pre-owned Mezz 1 at about half the price of a new one. This putter is amazing, absolutely!
Honestly, the putting gurus have thought it thru. If you removed a variable to a problem that the player doesnt know how to mitigate without their tutelage, that they are banking on, and are making bank on, youre actually removing their scheme. Its that simple. The coach you're speaking of found you as competition and didnt want you messing up his good thing. Leaches dont solve problems. They put temporary band aids on them.
I’ve just stumbled across your company and I’m very impressed. I’ve always tried to putt straight back and straight through. I’ve attempted to keep my blade putter square but it seems I’ve been fighting myself. This might have to be my next putter.
I had to watch this several times to absorb the notion that putter coming dead straight back on a line causes mild putter head arch relative to the cup. Well done. Very clear...
You made one mistake towards the end -- you said "keep the shaft on plane and the head takes care of itself." You should have added "and keep the arc constant, i.e. stationary pivot point". Both are necessary, per your very lucid explanation.
I checked with support because I am switching out the press pistol for a press II 1.5. I will not need to get the putter re-balanced because the weight difference in grips is below 10g. Anything above that starts to reintroduce torque.
Bought a regular Mezz max last year and loved it. Instantly cut 3 putts down to almost zero. Last 5 rounds no 3 putts. Just got a used broomstick. Wow love it. Need some work on short putts but now my only dilemma is what one to play with. I guess it’s not a bad problem. Keep up the great innovation. What’s next? Driver?!!
I’ve owned two different ones currently model df3. Our course has slower greens 8-10. Difficulty in getting proper distance. Leave many putts short. I was always been excellent lag putter. Also, difficulty in lining up putts. My face is closed when I think it’s in line. Needs to look slightly open to be the correct line.
I’m still waiting for the DF3 to come out in a broomstick. Any updates on when that will take place? And the “hopefully within the next 2 weeks,” I think I’ve received every other week since February! 🤦🏻♂️
I have just purchased DF3, to add to my LAB arsenal which also comprises the Mezz Max and Link. Unequivocally the lack of torque is a complete game changer for an average golf hack who has struggled consistently finding the right putter / stroke. I have shaved at least 3-5 strokes off each round with LAB putter in my bag.
Is it crazy to make the thumbs off drill your actual putting grip? I'm putting so well with this drill and don't really know what to do with my thumbs anymore
Hello, I made the mistake of buying a mezz 1 max putter stock from golf galaxy , not doing the custom fit. I’m struggling some with the putter. What options do i have to get this putter fitted for me?
I bought the Arm-Lock DF 2.1 last fall (used video fitting, to make sure all this money isn't wasted on a 6'6" golfer). As an above average ball striking 60yr old golfer (handicap ranges from 6 - 7), and still playing from the regular or back tees on all golf courses.......I have DESPERATELY wanted to improve my well-below average putting ability (routinely 34-39 putts per round).....poor lag putting, poor 4-6ft make ability, and my buddies ALWAYS make me putt my 2-3 footers because they know my stress, will make them money. For the last 20+ years I have tried basically every grip and putting style (standard/left-hand low/arm lock/broom/left-handed/etc/etc) known to golf, with very/very little consistent success. BOTTOM LINE (if you've read this far)........this Freakin Putter "technology" WORKS, for me!! Trusting that the face of putter will stay square (with my non-perfect stroke), absolutely frees my mind that I ONLY need to concern myself with my Read and Pace. Signed, LAB Cheerleader (who does not work for them, nor was given a free putter, nor was this a paid endorsement)
It is awesome that you came out with this video right after your discussion with Chris on No Putts Given. Real focus on getting customers what suits them.
just bought a 2.1 LH 45" Accra from LAB Golf Outlet did just what Sam said with the driver so happy i committed to what felt good to me, i do not want to drive the putter with the core / shoulders, and i was worried 45" would be too long for me at 5'5" LAB Golf is amazing 🤩
Question: How long can you make it? I’m 6’4” and would like to use like Bernard Langer. I have a bad back and would prefer this style. When I measure, I would need 54”. Is this even possible? Thank you!
3.0 is much better looking, and allows you to have more club control with your hand. 2.1 has the greatest inertia witch I feel is against my club control. So, really depending on your swing style.
I’m a believe in this thing. I win a raffle at a local shop and had a choice between any LAB or any Scotty. So I went to tried them to see what I liked convinced I was leaving with a Newport. The LAB feels completely different. I’ve always had waggles in my putting backstroke the DF3 stroke to completely smooth. I noticed improvement on the course immediately. Now I’m obsessed with figuring this science out which is why I’m here watching all you videos while I commute. I’m wishing I would have had the virtual fitting and some customization.
