The Geography Bible is a channel dedicated to creating interesting, intriguing and entertaining videos about human and physical geography.
Human geography or anthropogeography is the branch of geography that studies relationships between human communities, demographics, cultures, economies, and their interactions with the environment.
Physical geography is the branch of natural science which deals with the processes and patterns in the natural environment such as the atmosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere, and geosphere.
Mont Blanc massif, which straddles parts of France, Italy and Switzerland. Mont Blanc's summit lies on the watershed line between the valleys of Ferret and Veny in Italy, and the valleys of Montjoie, and Arve in France. >>>>> Ownership of the summit area has long been disputed between France and Italy!!!!!!!!!
Good videos, crazy facts. #19 has got me scratching my head, for how can any city in Florida be farther from Hawaii than any city in Maine?? Which as a state is MUCH farther east and north than Florida.
Another fact, the Atacama desert, located at the north of Chile, as well as the frontier with Peru and Bolivia, is the most arid desert on the world, with specific sectors that haven't received a single drop of rain for hundred of thousands of years.
I stg this must be engagement farming and it works, just from reading the comments, doing azerbaijan dirty by just showing the map, saying ayers rock instead of uluru, not specifying which congo you are referring to, reusing geographical features, then using the government name of the DPRK, while saying north korea in the voiceover, and actually including it in the Ds rather than the Ns, but not doing so for the congos, which would help distinguish the two.
You forgot some things. The techers wont hurt the student if they dont behave. They will try to talk. There is no poor peaple in norway. (trust me, ive looked everywhere.) There is also so many farms and a lot of trees. There is also no dangerous snakes or bugs. only one snake is dangerous, but nobodu have died from it.
I can live with central European EU, catholic/protestant countries not being considered west. Ditto for Japan/South Korea put in the same group with Somalia or Turkmenistan. But Ireland not being "western" is too much... And no, Central Asia doesn't have temperate climate. It is "dry" or "continental", even according to your map. On another note, Hitler or Mussolini would make Mediterranean completely disappear, really... This video is ridiculous. Fun because it is so ridden with errors.
if every country got invaded destroyed and taken over why did the citzens fight and make it better but yet the problem countries dont fix themselves and want handouts
what would happen is simple, less water = less evaporation which in turn = less rain which than means droughts, no food, wastelands, just barren and death to everything.
Personally, for Cameroon, I would have went with Lake Nyos because its such an interesting lake and was the site of one of the only couple of limnic eruptions on record. For Chile I would have went for either the marble caves in Patagonia because it looks so amazing and its such a cool geological feature or the Atacama desert because its the driest desert on Earth but when it does rain there is a massive floral bloom that looks so beautiful and impressive. For Georgia I would have gone for Veryovkina cave because it is the deepest cave in the world. Just my personal opinions, all the features mentioned in this video are so beautiful <3
Catholicism certainly played a role (manifest destiny and the Papal line of demarcation) in South America. Also SA was geographically a much harder reach from Europe involving long and perilous sea journeys, where as Africa was right out the southern doorstep. Mediterranean north Africa was already "Europeanised" early on. And now I'll get quite controversial by implying sub-Saharan Africa was and still is predominantly black, and in many ways much more "alien" to the European psyche. In short, it needed to be "cleaned up" (missionaries, Christianity, white rule, industrial revolution, post-renaissance modernity, etc.) Surely it was theirs for the taking (wrong!)
Doesnt every country but their country centre of the map though. In Aus we have the same position as does Japanese and Chinese and asian. On other maps it has Aus at the far right
Would have loved more actual images of some places than just screenshots from google maps. I mean it can‘t be that hard to find a picture of the nile river
Thank you sir and I just wanted to tell you that Mogadishu Somalia is also called Xamar thus making it the only capital city that starts with the letter x.
2:45 You use kilometers squared when you mean square kilometers. An area of 82,400 kilometers squared would be equivalent to a square with sides that measure over 4 times the distance frmo London to Auckland.
Some of those pronunciations were just horrific. If you're going to do a video like this, please at the very least just copy the native names for these places into Google Translate and listen to how the automated voice pronounces it. You won't get obscure languages like Tetum or Gilbertese, but that pronunciation of Zhangjiajie, when Chinese is so thoroughly supported online, is just unforgivable. Although I've got to give you props on Kiribati. Most people would just read that phonetically and never consider to look up how it's actually pronounced, but you nailed it.
