I created my channel as a place for people to discover new tech, get honest reviews and learn along side me as I delve deeper into the world of popular tech and gaming.
I am not an IT professional, just a dude on the internet that likes tech and playing video games.
For PC Setup inspiration be sure to follow my Instagram as well!
My major complaint would be that the base doesn't tilt, but not everyone will care about that as much. Otherwise it's a really nice one. I'll have some other chair reviews coming soonish as well, technisport, secret labs, and karnox.
Easy to install, but i have had mine fall off before. When you put them up, you really have to press them on for a good minute. Same with nanoleaf though. It's worse if you have a textured wall
I'd say this is mostly correct, the issue is that even with normal searches and looking something up that's currently popular its very easy to click on the top results on search engines which could lead to a fake website that is malicious, people make fake websites that look like real ones and they pay to appear as top results in searches, especially if it's fresh your browser might not warn you and it could be ignored by defender, using another AV might come in handy. On the other side if you use a AV you have one more company that collects your data in exchange for the security you receive. If you're just using your computer for websites and social media, installing Linux is very easy today, just look up a couple videos about popular Linux distros and how to install the one that seems interesting for you, most of them already come with a browser and they have software centers that are secure, just like your phone.
There is always a chance sure, and additional protection or security is never a bad thing. I just feel for the average person, windows defender covers most the bases, and while agree with the Linux approach, its definitely not for everyone. Using a different OS to the older, non-tech savvy generation is probably not something they want to try and learn/tackle. I appreciate the input though!
Windows doesn't automatically update all drivers, it does some. And cmd winget does, but not everyone knows cmd prompt stuff or wants to mess with it. This is also 1 progress rather than going to 16 different manufacturer websites and it creates a restore point before each one.
It's comparable, the rgb is brighter than the Razer one and likely more durable since it's not a fiber optic type of thing stitched to the sides. Where Razer wins with their RGB stuff in my mind is the game integration and compatibility with other brands like nanoleaf. But solely as a stand-alone product, the Hyte pad is probably a bit nicer.
Stabilizer wise I'm not sure of the brand, I assume it's their own design, but it does run the full length of the space bar and is pretty decent for a "stock" stabilizer (not a durock) not much wiggle or play to it
gnome activities does this similarly but allows you to switch workspaces, and move windows between workspaces and monitors. its gotten to the point where ive bound it to one of my mouse sniper buttons and i can never go back to windows.
It's Linux based right? I've heard of it but don't know much about it. Might have to check it out! I know on windows you can move windows between monitors with window+shift and an arrow key but im always down with further streamlining
@@PhazerOnest gnome is a desktop environment, a choice of "ui" for many linux distributions(installed by default on ubuntu, fedora, and pop os). its one menu that presents all your windows in a more visual way, allowing you to manage them between monitors and workspaces while still letting them be full screen. i prefer it to alt+tab and the windows are resized to be as large as possible rather than the fixed/small size of the win+tab menu on windows 10
I wish Logitech had a mouse that was made out of magnesium like this. I'm tired of their melting rubber accents forcing me to upgrade. Although I like their software.
I feel that, I have mixed feeling about logitech. They make nice stuff, and their software is good, but I feel like their quality has gone a bit downhill
Just got mine. I went for the gunmetal colorway. It really takes time to get use to it. Contrary to reviews I've seen online, this mouse is actually light. I've held mice with same size before that are heftier. The design is really attention-grabber, and the built is pretty tough considering how light it is.
I was just going to ask if you thought it sounded better than the yeti snowball, and then you drop that last second mentioning the whole thing's been recorded on it. Do you think that's inherently because the microphone is good or because you're really good at mixing and adjusting settings?
It was recorded how it comes straight out of the box, and I turned off all my noise gates and tuning on streamlabs. I didn't do any tuning in Synapse. So I would say that's pretty impressive.
Thank you for this video! As a light-nerd and someone who works with LED at a daily basis, the Quntis seems to have a greener hint in the light. This is something I really dislike. Might have to go with the benq. How was the glare? The frosted Quntis should be less harsh, did you notice that?
Thank you for the comment! Glare wise, both are pretty equal, the benq has a more defined cutoff both on the screen side and the user side, but neither put a glare on the screen when properly aimed. As for the harshness, I did not notice any discernable difference but you may if you work with them on the daily.
Very nice review. Was looking i to a new mouse and wanted something unique. Im glad to see it isnt a barebones gimmicky piece of junk. Might actually pick up the cheaper one.
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback, and yes I think it's a solid mouse. A bit pricey for the top tier version, but definitely different and seems to be well built. I've been using its for a few weeks now and haven't had any issues.
@@PhazerOnest genuinely good to hear. I bought their normal Mars speaker back during Christmas for a decent price and enjoy the brand's aesthetic. I'm def willing to pay a bit more as long as it is functionally similar to razor and Logitech. Keep up the reviews
I like the shape, but rhe weight is absolutely fucking ridiculous. Someone needs to tear this open and see how much they can pull out and reduce the weight.
The Quntis seems to be hitting your left monitor a lot and lighting it up way more than the Benq does. Is this angle adjustable, or is it just a bad design where it's not cutting the light at the screen?
It is angle adjustable, the main body of the light rotates on both models. However, the BenQ does have a more defined cut to the light, but when properly adjusted the Quntis works fine. I use the quntis at work and have no issues with it.
It is definitely a bit odd, But I think it's a cool design. I feel like it's on par with their other stuff. I think a 80% keyboard with a similar case design would be sweet.
got this exact mouse and am loving it ... two things: 1. Does your ripple control toggle to off when you exit the gravastar sw? (cant get it to stick to "on") 2. I found using a USB 3.0 dongle with the 4k receiver a bit iffy in that windows sometimes starts up without the dongle being active (have to remove the usb cable and re-insert into the dongle) for it to work again. Switched to the 2.0 usb port and so far its fine. ----- I actually returned a V2 pro Razer and kept the Gravastar
Oooh I'm not sure.. I'll have to check the Ripple Control thing. I honestly usually have it and Angle Snapping off because I feel like my aim is better without them in fps games. (I could be wrong 😅) I'll have to see if it remain on after exiting the app though.
Definitely one of the coolest looking mice for sure. Battery life seems solid so far as well. I wish they made the M1 in black though. Only the M2 comes in black so far.
