Just got the game on sale on psn, I’m a total noob at fighting games, already gave up in the past, but I’ll try to learn and actually improve this time
listening to this tutorial after 2h of sleep, 4h of babysitting my friends dog cuz shes handless, 2h session with her grandpa about building so i can play w my partner p:
I just started playing, and I’ve got a question about the controls. I use the joystick because it usually have more success with it, is this a bad habit that’ll make my playing worse at higher levels, or is it fine?
So this is a few years after you released this video, but your discussion over the gattling system was actually exactly what I needed. I was so confused as to how they connected or what to do, and it was only through this video that I finally realized how to chain together so many moves that I was simply never even realizing. Thank you so much, even if it is a bit late.
Thanks for the video. . . I use nappa to this day, and im 299th in the league right now!!! Your video helped me understand his ki blasts and air 5l and 2/5M. . .
You can extend the combo if you don't lose nappa's launcher. . . After nappa's lvl 3 you can hold the button, and you can quickly press 5L, only about 2 times and then you need to teleport or use specials to secure another lvl 1 or 3
yea but if one of my guys gets weakend then i swap then i get weakend agein i cant go to anchor coz if he dies the whole team dies then i lose the game
6:48 i saw that some people in forums talk about "X frames for Y movement" this means that when less frames takes a movement to hit, it's better while blocking?
0:38 when all my opponent does is run away to gain back their homing C assists 💀 literally played a guy who used S Broly! W/ his big ass buttons. Really running away the entire time as his anchor 😐 not my fault u chose a guy w/ shite frame data
Funny this video comes to me after I try learning finish sign combos rocking ginyu B! And gohan uppercut. Adult Gohan A is fookin teaching me ground dash jump cancel is hard asf. I’ve spent so much time prior tryna learn “SJ IAD” and it’s fookin useless when I get SD’d on 💀 I finally learned how ginyu B functions. Doesn’t mean imma understand my set play in execution It’s rlly tough to keep the combo towards the ground for maximum taunt effectiveness
It’s one of the my favourite chars and I very love his gameplay in GGXXACPR and in strive he got a MASSIVE moves cut, and I am not happy about this, but he is still cool and it’s good. Thanks for guide.
Guilty Gear Strive is my first guilty gear and I'm loving it so far, the hard stuff is honestly just shifting my mind set from smash player instincts into gg ones
Just after watching this video, i finally get my first real combo(by real i mean a combo that would be useful in a real match). Even if it was only in training mode i still gained a lot of confidence and even if i lose, i feel like i can keep going and get better.
I've never had so much fun actually learning a game. GGST is the first fighting I've wanted since RELEASE! I just got a PS5 this Christmas and now I can finally play it, it's so fun for me to practice, and even lose to people. So much that I can learn from and improve
What i havent seen you comment and is one of my biggest challenges with zato is usually high / low mixups or strike/throw mixups in neutral, zato struggles a lot there from what i can tell, sure in the corner the pressure is crazy and he get a lot of options and mind games, but what can we do in neutral while we have the pressure with eddie? Most of my opponents just block low usually or react dust so i cant reliably do any "mixup", and instead just corner carry them slowly.
I just think it depends on the game I like using stick on mortal kombat because it’s just easier to do combos tied in with the movement but with other games like tekken I use the dpad because it feels more slower and the way the combat is it just feels more natural on Dpad, but it’s all up to preference I don’t really think there’s one over the other
I don't know how, why and when I found about Guilty Gear, my first Guilty Gear was... Guilty Gear for GBA on emulator... Yeah... Second was Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator and 3rd is Guilty Gear Strive
