We are a team of laymen dedicated to producing high-quality content that draws directly from the wisdom of the Eastern Orthodox Church. We believe that the words of the Holy Fathers and Mothers are just as relevant today as they were in centuries past, and our goal is to utilize technology to propagate these teachings to the ends of the Earth.
"When we labor in the fields of the Lord, we create harmony." - Elder Thaddeus of Vitovnica
I talked to a older man named Rocko that lived there for a time and was also raised as an alter boy in Kodiak at the Orthodox church who talked about the light that was seen when he passed and also a man in Iliamna who told me of the light they saw in the village there, the villagers immediately knew who had passed, and the Mohawk St I mentioned is Saint Kateri Tekakwitha
If that’s how you understand mediator between man and God,,,then it’s best nobody should pray for you and you best not ask anyone to pray for you. Other wise they just became between you and God. But if you see a Saint as still alive and not dead, could they not pray for you? Do they not care? And why did early church Saints and fathers practice this way if it would be so wrong? Do we really know better then they? 🙏🏽❤️🩹
I thought those grey beards in Skyrim looked cool with their power and teachings funnily enough they are outfitted the exact same as the orthodox monks. I don't think this was accidental.
