Late to the party here. In that an aluminium nut, rather than titanium? Any issues? I need to swap out the corroded ones on my 1199

Hi there !!! Yes mine is a aluminium nut 👍 and NO ISSUES what so ever probably would of bought the titanium one if I could of got it red but at the time of purchase all the titanium ones were self colour ie silver and I wanted red 😂👍

@@lazerlips8834 thanks for the reply. Agree red looks awesome (would match my bike, set against black wheels) but Titanium seems to be a rarity so will probably go for Aluminium like you and be careful with the torque wrench.

If you were buying a spare set of wheels for some sticky trackday rubber, what width rear wheel would you go for?
@lazerlips8834
@lazerlips8834 Год назад
If was buying a spare set I’d just buy any to b fair 👍👍 won’t really make a difference because you’ll only b running a tyre say up to a 190/60/17 and it will fit both a 5.5 or a 6.0 rim 👍👍👍 not sure what part of the world ya live in but hear in uk 5.5inch rims a hard to find so nearly every one I know just runs a 6.0 👍👍 add the fact if you buy a brand new set of rims ie magnesium/forged/carbon they will come as standard 6.0 even if you state panigale V2 👍
@daytonasayswhat9333

@lazerlips8834
@lazerlips8834 Год назад
Hi there A 190 will definitely go on a 5.5 rim no problems at all 👍 as for making it even I’m not sure what you mean ???? This I can tell you, if you put a 190-55-17 on the only thing you notice is the flick ability of the bike will b slower it’ll feel lazier to go from side to side so I can only imagine that a 50 section will fell even more so 👍 it depends how you using your bike really if your doing loads of say motorway miles a 50 will b extremely stable but if your wanting to do twisties the bike will feel mega lazy to go from side to side👍👍 hope this helps you 👍👍

How is the bike to ride for a few hours? Thinking about the riding position, comfortable enough?
@lazerlips8834
@lazerlips8834 Год назад
Hi there There is no doubt that the v2 is very heavy on the wrist 👎 that being said I’ve been asked a lot the same question, and it really depends on your rides , I’ve found that short stop n go stuff you’ll definitely feel it way more, but if your doing longer rides with higher speeds it’s fine. Here in the uk and where I live and ride it’s the norm to set off about 10 on a morn and not get back home till 6 in the evening and do a full day out on the bike only really stopping for fuel every couple of hours , the speeds are at a level where the wind takes it from your wrists and I personally have never had an issue, but let say I use it to commute or do city stuff where it’s all stop stat then it becomes way more noticeable on the wrists and get uncomfortable. Hope this helps 👍

I used to when I first got the bike and was running it in but it was only ever 2nd to 1st on the down shift, but also in that time say the first 300 mile I had to adjust the gear lever position to suit my foot position wile riding and had no problems after that 👍 so I just put the false N down to that, also after 1st service and the software update it seemed to get smoother “ not sure if that was just in my head like 😂”

Hey brother, Im considering this bike and just realized from a comment of yours on another video that we are pretty much the same height. How are the ergonomics for you on this bike? @lazerlips8834
@lazerlips8834 2 года назад
Wey up buddy sorry for the long delay in reply I’ve been away for the w-end on the drink 😂😂 the best way I can answer your question is for a bike to potter around town on it’s a pain in the arse 😂 the engine is lumpy under 4K revs and your always slipping or pulling the clutch in at slow speeds , not sure where you are in the world but even here in the uk during summer month if I only ware jeans n jacket to get somewhere if I was traffic light to traffic light I wouldn’t recommend the bike heats up very quickly and the fan will almost b running none stop 🙈 and your right inner thigh will get uncomfortable quick 🙈 I tend not to use mine for any commuting reall just for long rides out hence always have me leathers on and always moving quickly 👍👍👍 then as far as I’m concerned it’s the best bike I’ve owned 👍👍👍 so the shot answer is it’s heavy on ya wrists, cooks ya inside leg, and is pain in the arse to drive slow round town 🙈 get out in the mountains/dales with leathers on and it’s best bike in the world 😬😬👍
