The battle music is ironic haha. It would be so much better if they were faster than you (like it says on the website, and like they are in real life) and always did instant damage on contact, like at 10:41. When they only do damage after the animation finishes, you can dodge it so easily. Like, even by walking away from it (not even trotting, walking), you’ll always dodge it. It’s better now with their faster charge attack that deals instant damage most of the time, but that only happens if they have a high fight meter, and you can still sit in front of them like you did in this video. The trotting charge attack is just… i don’t see the point of it. But luckily, loboloco said in the beta channel on discord that they’re tabling cougar behavior until the Saga is finished, so they might get changes sometime after that :DDD I can’t wait
Tbh, after this and when they said it was being tabled suddenly Cougars patched behaviors were working properly, most now do NOT let you sit in front of them that long. Go figure! This recording was post-patch that touched on the kitty, who knows what it was...
@@lionguardfan2019Yeah, I’m very glad about that haha. From what I can tell, they got a general increase in aggression over carcasses and a speed increase for their charge attacks, which is great. And you’re right that they won’t let you sit in front of them for as long at all. If they have a high fight meter, they are very dangerous, but sadly it’s still possible to chain bite cougars and then they can’t attack you. Which I predict is something that might change if cougars get more changes after the Saga. At this point, that’s probably the biggest issue with them is how easy it is to bite them and stop their attacks. But other than that they behave pretty good imo. I didn’t realize that this was post-patch though, except for at the end when the cougar actually started damaging you lol. Now I think that was new, but since it was still trotting around I assumed it was just something I missed when I did my testing haha.
