You started with 18 g of coffee, but the post-grind weight was 18.4 g because you added a few spritzes of water; wouldn’t you want to keep the 0.4 g then?
dearest, sorry for the inconvenience but I have an important question...I purchased the 9 bar spring which will arrive shortly...but after replacing it, can I still use the pressurized filter supplied (the one with the rubber underneath) or do I have to use it exclusively one of the remaining 2 (i.e. single and double dose)??? and if it's possible what happens to the coffee if I do it? It was hard to fit larger cappucino cups underneath there. I pulled double shot of espressos in and espressos glass and then pour it into a different cup/glass. Highly recommend to get bottomless portafilter, smaller scale, and if still need it, a lower drip tray.
Hi! I am aware that the expensive machines produce very little cream (CO2). We're you able to cut down the production of cream with the OPV adjustment and how much output of cream are you getting now in comparison to before the adjustment. Thanks
Hello I know this is a old video but I just got the same unit as you. A few questions/problems I’m running into if you could help? 1: did you ever have any issue of the brew light turning off mid brew? No matter how long I turn it on or other tricks I try are not working. 2: do you feel like your group head doesn’t want to go in all the way? Almost like it’s too tight to fully twist in until it’s completely straight in the middle?.

Question : I just got my Gaggia Classic Evo Pro and was wondering if it’s normal for the Portafilter spouts to drip after pulling a shot ? Mine drips for a bit until I shut it off. Doesn’t drip from the head or anywhere else. Just the side spouts.
I have just purchased a Gaggia Classic Pro 2019. I have just ordered the blank and cafiza. I am wondering if it is possible to clean the shower head and basket in the drip tray with the solution that comes out of the drain pipe. Seems like it would be sufficient if done once a month.
No one has questioned the non-stick coating inside the boiler. Gaggia uses Exelia 3010-B242. Exelia is used in the cooking and baking industry. The Food & Drug Administration has also approved the use of Exelia 3010-B242. Does it matter? The FDA also approved the use of Teflon and which has been proven to cause cancer. Boiling water is not as hot oven temperatures but it does not mean using Exelia 3010-B242 is safe either. Fluctuating water temperature, from refrigerated to near boiling, sits inside the boiler for multiple hours, days, and weeks. Can the Gaggia Classic Espresso Machine cause cancer? Where is the data proving that Exelia 3010-B242 is safe? What is the list of chemicals in Exelia 3010-B242? Why isn't the list of chemicals used in Exelia publicly available? How are the chemicals bonded together? How is Exelia 3010-B242 bonded to the aluminum boiler? Too many questions. Zero answers....
Hi! Does the PID allow the Gaggia to make temp. adjustments automatically or is it just for visual guide to tell you the status of the boiler? Also, is the steam from the one hole tip dryer compared to the stock two hole tip?

At the beginning I thought it was defective because it struggled to brew (something similar to your video) but I realized I was grinding the beans too fine so I changed it and it's better now. How is the machine doing after two years? Thanks!
i keep getting sour shots with medium roast beans, is it normal for a medium roast to be sour or am i just terrible at this? my dose was 16 grams in 32 out at 30 seconds but it was still very sour
