If anyone is watching in 2024-2025, im so glad we all can enjoy this wonderful game together and the nostalgia it will forever bring us. Truly a masterpiece of a game. Thank you Nintendo!
this theme makes me think, about a lot of stuff, my life, my memories, the bad ones too, my first animal crossing was city folk, but this theme gets me too. in such a good way, thanks.
This reminds me of a close friend I had in elementary and middle school. We drifted apart towards the end of middle school and stopped talking. I tried to get back in contact with her via Facebook a couple years ago but she didn't respond. I won't push it any further, but I would love to be able to catch up with her again some time 😥
I remember having a town in Wild World recently, I think I named it either Morrilton or something else. I don't remember the name of the town, but I do remember living in a town where no ugly villagers would live there. All of them were some of the most desired villagers that are still desired to this day. (I had Rosie!) but, due to me having to delete all my computer data in September 2023, the town was gone forever, and I had forgotten all about it. I created another town a month later to see if I can relive living in a successful town with the best villagers.
i always wondered why fast car by tracy chapman evokes a weird sense of nostalgia in me, despite not being a song i recall hearing often growing up. recently, it hit me how similar the first few chords of it are to this song, the first animal crossing game i played when i was probably about 6 or 7 years old.
i decided to do this: what your fave ac music says about you! new leaf 8pm - you just lost a villager in that game that you loved so much and now your crying. reset surveillance center - you're into angry italian moles. wild world theme - N O S T A L G I A . new leaf theme - skye's your favourite villager.
this was the game i used to play with my grandparents when i was a kid. they made me discover animal crossing. i then played new leaf with my big sis. then i played new horizons by myself. growing up is hard
crazy how i wasn't even born when this video was posted and i'm here now and going into high school soon. that probably doesn't sound as crazy as it is to me lol also this song has so many memories attached to it i might cry.
I remember when I was 11 or so the first time I loaded the game on one of those modded cartridges like R4 or M3 not knowing a single thing and the first impact was like "OH SHIT THIS GAME IS SO 3D LOOK AT THIS DEPTH AND THE WORLD IS CURVED" aaaand then yes, catching bugs ans fish, I became addicted😂
Wild World was my first experience with this series. I just asked a (now former) friend if I could borrow it because the cover looked nice. I immediately fell in love! I had it for a few months and then returned it, then discovered that my uncle had the original for the GameCube. Played it, had fun, and then the friend got City Folk. A bit stale, but fun! I played once and usually watched him play. Then I got my own copy of New Leaf a couple years later. I was practically addicted since it qas all that could keep me occupied when I was isolated for a chunk of time, even before lockdowns happened, simply because of bad relatives. The series is one I have a soft spot for. It makes me incredibly happy when I play and seeing others enjoy it brings me great joy!
