A collection of videos that enhance the humanity of ALL. The goal is to do ANY and EVERYthing possible to move us as a people, nation, and world toward a unity of purpose - an ubuntu mindset: "I AM because WE ARE!" But I AM a Humanist & ANTI-THEIST! I believe that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. That controlling and narcissistic gods have controlling and narcissistic followers who spread that sentiment down to generations of controlling and narcissistic descendants! That generation after generation of control and narcissism makes harmonious living amongst humanity impossible! THIS is the central issue for believers to understand about the anti-theist: Our rejection of godism is because of its DELETERIOUS EFFECT ON HUMAN HARMONY! THAT'S IT! Other than that, we wouldn't CARE about you having an imaginary friend! Our goal, dream, aspiration is nothing more than peace. We've simply acknowledged that it is impossible to get there with gods and you are simply late to the party!
I'm pretty sure Rupert isn't a virgin. He just has never heard sex described like that before. When he was asked to describe it, it's not necessarily easy to do so. The fact is we, as human beings, rarely take for granted that which nature has given us by design. We cant really describe sensations despite them coming naturally. For a robot to desire that which nature has not given them, it would be able to describe it.
It’s 2024 and I’m listening to Frankie Beverly and Maze my favorite group and concert of all time. Sending much love from Baton Rouge, Louisiana! ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
The love I have for this man is crazy!!! Frankie has one of the most distinctive voices!! It just does something to my soul when I hear one of their songs. These songs are the soundtrack to my childhood 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 I was born in 79 but every time I hear them it takes me back to being a kid in the 80’s and hearing these songs on the radio riding in the car… such a care free time
This was so interesting because the album cuts are much different than this. The opening for "You" is much longer and there are also some extended versions of some of the other songs that don't appear on the live album. I am really curious about why the encore "Look In Your Eyes" is left out of the video though. I wish I could have seen this band in their hey days but this is the next best thing!
What up P...I've often questioned why the concert footage for "The Look in Your Eyes" was never included in Live On New Orleans DVD but yet the audio is present on the album and CD. I remember many years ago when Frankie had the Mazemuze guestbook, someone asked him the question and he responded something to the effect "that's a good question" suggesting that he didn't know why the video footage was left out. My theory is this. When the album came out, Capitol Records in collab with Pioneer Artists also released the concert video on a format called LaserDisc (developed by the Pioneer corporation). The capacity for the LaserDisc, from what I've researched is 60 minutes. Based on the LaserDisc capacity limit, the intro for "You" was shortened and "The Look in Your Eyes" was never included and I'm guessing the original concert footage was saved this way. Otherwise the full concert of 60+ minutes would have exceeded the LaserDisc capacity of 60 minutes. Fast forward to the 1990s and 2000s, everything is re-released on CD and DVD. So when Capitol Records released this concert on DVD, I'm guessing they used their edited, saved footage (less than 60 minutes) that was used for the LaserDisc. A DVD can hold 120+ minutes of video so the original, unedited concert footage could have easily fit on a DVD. If you search the Internet, you will find the Live in New Orleans LaserDisc and notice the track listing and you will clearly see that "The Look in Your Eyes" is not listed. It would have been nice to see that footage of "The Look in Your Eyes". No question. 1️⃣♥️. Peace

I love how he incorporated the local community into this concert with the songs "Southern Girls" & Look at California - these songs made me feel like he sang them just for southern girls and New Orleans, Louisiana. This made me proud so glad you get to retire when you feel it's time. We wish you good health and many blessings.
OMG, nothing but memories. My cousin in law and I were at this historical event and it was amazing. May 25 th, see in New Orleans again Frankie for another history making event. I used to break my neck running to see you guys at Jazz Fest. Never missed a chance to see you all. Legacy maker, you earned your spot, enjoy your retirement ❤
I bought this VHS back in the late ‘90s from Amoeba Records on Telegraph in Berkeley. Sure enough, it quickly became one of my Dad’s tapes lol. But my best memory of it is around 2002 me and my friend took it across the street to the neighbors house where he was having a party, Mom and Dad were there, a lot of other couples, along with young people our age, and we were all in there partying off “Bodyheat”, “Eyesight”, “Sex Machine” and everything off this tape. That was a truly good night, and a lot of those people there are no longer here or in Ill health, but it was good to be there with them and JB on that night.
I'm 38 and from New Orleans and my parents used to take us to the Essence fest every year and we would see them all the time...this was before Hurricane Katrina
